New spacecraft cleanroom complete!
Today we were joined by NASA Moon Base leadership, the Texas Space Commission, and federal and state government representatives, to celebrate this milestone.
Funded by a Texas Space Commission grant, this facility is four times larger than our existing cleanroom, allowing us to ramp up production of our lunar landers and orbital spacecraft to support our growing mission manifest.

From Sweden to orbit.
SSC Space signed on for two Alpha launches from Esrange Space Center in Sweden, targeted to launch in 2028.
These missions, serving Swedish national defense and commercial customers, are part of a long-term, multi-launch partnership with @SSCspace, delivering regular orbital launch capabilities directly from mainland Europe.

Surviving the lunar night.
Firefly is onboarding @zeno_power on an upcoming Blue Ghost mission to tackle one of the biggest challenges on the Moon: operating through the extreme cold and prolonged darkness of the lunar night.
Hosted on our Blue Ghost lander, Zeno’s payload will demonstrate radioisotope and nuclear-powered technologies to extend operations beyond sunset when temperatures can fall below -280°F.

This endurance test verifies that the engine can perform beyond the nominal flight duration, meaning this engine is one step closer to being ready for flight. Seven of these Miranda engines will generate the thrust needed to lift our Eclipse rocket off the launch pad and propel it into orbit.
