Hi, my name is Bear and I’m a degenerate investorholic. I DCA every week. I buy every dip. I never sell. I call it discipline. Recovery starts after the next dip. Not financial advice.

Take all the money in the world and divide it equally. Give it five years. Many who were broke will be broke again. Many who were wealthy will be wealthy again. Wealth isn’t just money. It’s mindset, discipline, knowledge, and habits.

So I’ve been trying to get into the tax deed business, where towns auction off unpaid property tax debt. Went to my first auction and learned they apparently operate like it’s 1960. Money orders or certified checks only. No other form of payment. They also have one VERY strict rule: Don’t bid on anything unless you physically have the money there. You can’t win and then leave to go get the money. There are heavy penalties. Well, one guy apparently missed that part. He gets into a bidding war with another guy. Starts around $1k and eventually wins at $10k. Then he pulls out his debit card 😂 Big no-no. He says he has the money, just not in the required form. Then things got crazy. A bunch of sheriffs working the auction surround him. The other bidder is understandably pissed because without this guy bidding, he would have won at a much lower price. The result? The guy had to cover the difference PLUS around $17k in penalties/fees. Something like $25k-$27k total because he didn’t understand the payment rules. Absolutely insane price to pay for one mistake. Lesson learned from my first auction: Read every damn rule before you raise your hand.

They get exactly that and freedom. They accept a wage. They could instead become an entrepreneur: Invest their own capital. Be responsible for everything. Take all the risk. Get paid last. That option is available to everyone, yet almost everyone chooses the security of a wage or salary. They look at the outcome of a successful business and want their share of it while ignoring everything that came before. They get what they agreed to: a wage.

What’s the purpose of this?
🚨 HUGE NEWS: Claude now embeds an invisible watermark into every piece of text it generates. Anthropic just documented how it works. Two marks, both machine-readable: > Text: an imperceptible watermark woven into the words themselves. You can’t see it, and it doesn’t change meaning, quality, or readability. > Files (.svg, .png, .jpg): signed provenance metadata on the C2PA open standard, so you can tell if a file’s been tampered with. The watermark is applied at the model level. That means it shows up no matter where the text comes from: the API, Claude, Claude Code, Cowork, Claude Tag, and even when a supported model runs through AWS, Google Cloud, or Microsoft Foundry. Models launched on or after August 2, 2026 mark from day one. Older models are getting it during a transition period. Every sentence Claude writes for you now carries a signature you’ll never see.

WHAT GETS LOST IN THE PIED-À-TERRE TAX DEBATE: THESE PEOPLE ALREADY PAY PROPERTY TAXES. The entire “fair share” argument starts from the premise that owners of expensive second homes in NYC somehow aren't contributing. They already pay property taxes on those properties whether they spend 365 days a year in them or zero. A pied-à-terre tax isn't about finally making these owners “pay their fair share.” It's about deciding that the taxes they already pay aren't enough and imposing another tax because the government has identified a politically convenient group that it believes can afford it. And somehow the conversation never turns to the other side of the ledger: What is NYC doing with the enormous amount of property-tax revenue it already collects? Before inventing another tax, maybe we should be asking whether government is delivering a fair share of value for the taxes New Yorkers already pay.

I see airport security as a metaphor for our entire society since Covid. Almost everything is now performative nonsense theater that inconveniences everyone, benefits no one and solves nothing.

Yup - and they say affordable housing doesn’t exist.
Are you joking? You're telling me I can buy this for £223,102.56 in Texas. I'm officially leaving the UK.

Scott Galloway is a perfect example of perhaps the most pernicious people in society: the stupid-smart person. Educated beyond his intelligence. Smart enough vocabulary to justify his ego and smugness, but too stupid to understand basic realities of communists. Smart people internalize history and make good decisions. They also know the dangers of hubris. Stupid people don't know enough to even opine on the issues in the first place, so their stupidity isn't a threat. But the stupid-smart person can teach at NYU, he can build a big successful business, he can even give a good TED Talk, but he's not smart enough to see the limits of his own capacities...so he asserts himself in society with an outsized level of confidence. Sadly, he's articulate enough to fool lots of people into elevating his stupid ideas...and that's the problem. People listen to the stupid-smart guys, like him. Then they're genuinely baffled when there's a Kalashnikov pointed at their head as they're staring at a cinder block wall behind the politburo headquarters. In a functional society, this clown would be a pariah. I have precisely zero empathy for his plight in NYC. He endorsed it. Now he can eat it, good and hard.
“I supported this…why is he doing this to me?” Useful idiots. NEVER help a communist.

You can’t make this up. ID required for free groceries No ID required to vote in our elections Make that make sense
David Sacks on Mamdani’s Government-Run Grocery Stores “It is ironic that they're going to be checking ID to make sure people aren't coming over from Jersey but if you want to come over illegally from any country in the world, that's just fine.”

If you constantly talk about making $10m on your podcast READING ADS FOR TECH COMPANIES, as well as your jet cards, $3,000 hotel suites and second and third homes, don’t be surprised if the socialist commies come for you next!

Being a landlord is funny sometimes. A tenant asked if his kids’ new miniature doodle could stay at his newly renovated apartment when they visit. I said I’d consider it with a signed pet agreement, full responsibility for any damage, pet liability insurance, and a $40 monthly pet fee. He agreed to everything—but asked if I’d lower the fee to $20 because the dog would only be staying “occasionally.” My brother, the dog can still cause $40 worth of damage in one afternoon 😂 Would you hold firm or negotiate?
