New Article: Sons of Bosnia
This week, we saw Bosnia and Herzegovina bow out of the World Cup at the hands of the United States.
It’s worth remembering that a little over 30 years ago, a genocide was taking place which intended to wipe out the Bosnian population.
To now represent their nation on the biggest stage in world football, pulled from diaspora communities all across the globe, is nothing short of a miracle.

Nice to see this has come to fruition - Cameron spent some time in our library consulting our collection of football fanzines for his PhD.
We continue this look at campaigns to tackle divisiveness as Cameron Huggett of the @britishlibrary & Teeside University discussing how football fanzines & anti-racism campaigns intersect in the 1990s and early 2000s.
