589 DAYS OF FUZZY. Tomorrow marks 589 days of Fuzzy. 589 days since a meme project became something much bigger. From an on-chain experiment to a global brand, with international distribution both on-chain and off-chain. None of that happens without the people who have been here with us. And 589 days is a long time. Some of you were here on day one. Some of you understood the references before anything was ever explained. Some found us somewhere along the way. Some disappeared for a while and somehow found their way home again. And some of you arrived yesterday. It doesn’t really matter when. If you’re here now, you’re part of it. You collected when nobody knew where this was going. You believed in things we couldn’t explain yet. You followed the clues, questioned the codes, connected dots and sometimes found things we never thought anyone would find. You watched us try things, get things wrong, learn, rebuild and keep moving. You turned pixels into cards. Cards into boxes. Boxes into stores. And somewhere along the way, Fuzzy became real. There were easier ways to build this. Probably faster ways too. But then it wouldn’t have been Fuzzy. Because the strangest part of these 589 days isn’t how much Fuzzy has changed. It’s how many of you are still here to see what it becomes next. So before anything else: Thank you. To all the X Spaces hosts who gave Fuzzy a place to be heard. To the marketplace builders creating new ways for people to discover, collect and trade. To the Fuzzy Sales Managers who took it upon themselves to bring Fuzzy into the world. To those who show up every day. To those who rock the PFP. To those who take the time to spread the word. To those giving away free cards. To those educating and helping others. To those supporting people, even when that support isn’t returned. To those who keep building, creating and contributing without asking for anything in return. To those making Fuzzy, Fuzzy. We see you. We appreciate you. And we couldn’t be more grateful. You make Fuzzy real. And now you’re helping Fuzzy take over the world. There is a lot we could talk about today. The Portal. Distribution. New partnerships. SWELL. What comes next. And we’ll get to all of that. But tomorrow only happens once. The 4th. 589. Our most special day. Our most coded day. And we made something to remember it. Exactly 24 hours from now, the 589 Collection goes live. At 5 PM ET tomorrow, the mint opens. And just like the moment it was made to remember, it won’t stay around for long. 24 hours to mint. 24 hours available. Then it’s gone. There will be two versions: One tokenized on-chain. One through a regular fiat presale, directly purchasable through our webshop. This is also part of something much bigger. We’re working towards a fully tokenized version of Fuzzycards. The idea is simple: The physical product is stored securely by our distributor, while the on-chain asset represents the physical product. It can be redeemed whenever you want. No expiry. No redemption deadline. The physical product remains safely in custody until someone decides to redeem it, while the asset itself can move freely on-chain. And once that asset exists on-chain, anyone can build around it. Trading. Distribution. Gamification. New marketplaces. New experiences we haven’t even thought of yet. Anyone can build any kind of on-chain experience around these assets. We believe trading, distributing and gamifying Fuzzycards becomes much easier when the asset can live on-chain instead of only off-chain. We want Fuzzycards to become something people can build on top of. Tomorrow is another step in that direction. But this one is special. Every card in the 589 Collection will be holographic, with a different holographic treatment for each rarity. All 150 Genesis cards will carry a special gold foil 589 stamp on top of the holographic. A mark for the day that made them. There’s one more secret in this Edition. Thirteen cards from the Genesis set exist in a hidden variant: The same cards, seen from the other side of the torii gate. Mirrored. Vermilion. Written entirely in Japanese. One per box. We also saw how much you guys loved keeping the boxes sealed. So we decided to make a box that is special enough to look at even when it never gets opened. The 589 boxes feature completely new, hand-drawn, fully coded artwork made specifically for this collection, with holographic effects throughout. This artwork will never be used or distributed again. It will never be posted by us either. It is purely meant for the eyes of the believer. Alongside the special boxes, there will be five different jumbo collector cards featuring the same artwork. Tokenized version: complete set of all five. Fiat presale: one random jumbo. Collectors of the tokenized version will also receive two special promo cards that will never be released again. And then there is The King. Only 10 will ever exist. The 10 largest orders will each receive a The King promo card, individually numbered 1–10. All ten will be distributed exclusively to the community. You will not be told beforehand if you made the cut. No leaderboard. No announcement. If you made the cut, The King will simply appear in your order. One of the 10. Forever. A FEW IMPORTANT DETAILS Orders made through the website and orders made with the tokenized asset will be combined when determining the 10 largest orders. If you purchase through both, we need to be able to connect those orders. Once redemption for the tokenized asset goes live, you will have 24 hours to claim your physical version if you want it combined with an existing webshop order. After that, your webshop order may already have entered fulfillment and we may no longer be able to combine them. The 589 Collection will begin shipping in approximately 2 months. This collection uses printing techniques we have never used at this scale. Because of how special and complex this production process is, we will begin production as soon as the 24-hour sale closes and we know the final number. We will make exactly the amount that is sold. No extras. No second print. No rerun. Once these are made, they are made. The 589 Collection will never be produced again. And while tomorrow is about remembering where we came from, we’re already building where Fuzzy goes next. The real Portal has now been live for over a week. A lot of you helped us test the version that came before it. Every order, every bug and every piece of feedback gave us the data we needed to build something around what the community actually needs. And feedback will always be welcome. Together, we have built something pretty crazy: The largest sales team any TCG has ever had. While XRP is heating up, we’re ramping up our marketing efforts too. We have multiple partnerships in the pipeline, including some very big ones. But we’ve also learned something over these 589 days: The bigger the company, the bigger the partnership, the longer things take. That’s okay. We’re planning something big for SWELL. We’re building our distribution. We’re building on-chain infrastructure. We’re opening doors that weren’t open 589 days ago. And we’re going to keep opening them. Because we’re not building Fuzzy for tomorrow. We’re building it for the thousands of days that come after it. This is a marathon, not a sprint. But every marathon has days you remember.
