Emotional regulation is the key differentiator that sets elite performers apart from the rest of us- @thenicklavery
Use your emotions to your advantage, don’t let them use you.
It can be taught and it can be learned.

Everyone is here for different reasons.
But…If 𝕏 is the platform you’ve decided to run your business from -
You’ve got to learn how to think about it all differently from how you’re using it right now.
That change will be VERY uncomfortable + why you stay where you are.

This applies exactly to optimizing for likes, reach and followers.
All playing to the algorithm.
All using the same hooks, trends, formats.
Do it for a year, ok it’s a lesson.
Do it for 10 years the entire online market is a mess.

Most CEOs overvalue attention and undervalue access.
Attention looks impressive.
Access changes businesses.
A viral post feels productive.
A conversation with the right person usually is.
I’ve seen founders with tiny audiences land partnerships, investors, clients and acquisitions while larger accounts were celebrating impressions.
Because impressions are not opportunities.
Relationships are.
The question is not:
“How many people saw this?”
The question is:
“Did the right people see this?”
“Was there an opportunity to move to the next thing?”
When you see that working big numbers tell you it’s already the system you don’t need, because it’s not focused for your business.
Think about it.
How can it be?

also views,
impressions,
your 1 year consistently posting every day streak…
Means nothing.
You just need better systems for social.
You got taught by the loudest voices that get paid by algorithms that the secret was more engagement.
Thats just what they wanted.

There are a lot of very smart people buying some really stupid stuff.
It means nothing.
It’s about $30 a month to buy this.
Copywriters sell it to you for $1500 a month.
Big key words:
-> “been going on for years”.
Buying organic “fame” does not = customers.

This work because its deep rooted in insights.
It’s true.
So it connects.
Well done to @BBHLondon
It’s even close to the @budweiserusa added time “multi-ball”, and that’s a big compliment.
Slash and a pint.
Amazing client to pass that copy too.
