AI visual effects are going to completely change what audiences expect in movies. There are already AI shorts on social media that look better than some blockbusters from two years ago.
‘Forgotten Island’ includes a legal notice in its credits prohibiting the film from being used to train AI models: “This work may not be used to train AI.”

It's crazy that people call the AI shit slop as if the entertainment industry hasn't been churning out garbage almost exclusively for the last 10 years.

AI is going to allow us to compete with the woke Hollywood slop.

That’s an interesting response to what seems to be a completely understandable sentiment from the Forgotten Island creators. Out of curiosity, do you believe AI should be regulated at all?

regulated how? I'm sure DreamWorks, Disney, WB, Pixar, will all train proprietary models on their own content. If indie artists and filmmakers only have access to these tools through the Hollywood studio system, that would suck.

Adam nobody is going to pay to watch AI slop in movie theaters. Movies are going to start following suit and will have some sort of AI free certifications for movies that we will see very shortly.

If AI never produces a round-headed, bean-mouthed 3D animation, it will already have surpassed the last 10 years of mainstream Hollywood animation.

Ever seen the garbage AI tries to sell as SCI fi. you know from which movie or series it stole the style or whole asset from because the styles never work together. Its always Star trek halls with glub shittos and exotic stargate egypt.

There might be "some" that are really good but it's more like 1 out of 500 if them might look ok.

Nah, artists on blue sky. You're going to get the public to reject AI-generated content.
