Looking back to 2005 -- the first year of the #RFS -- the #biodiesel industry used the exact same amount of #soybean oil for the entire year. RFS growth is driving tremendous value and economic opportunity for farmers and rural communities.
Total soybean oil use at #biodiesel and #renewablediesel plants in June stood at 1.556 billion lbs, up 8.5% from May and the highest-ever consumption rate on record since the @EIAgov began tracking soybean oil inputs for biofuel production in January 2021.
