U.S. soybean crush continues to gain momentum. New @USDA data show processors crushed 221.9 million bushels in July, the highest monthly total since March and 8.2% above July 2025. Domestic soybean crush has now exceeded year-ago levels for 17 consecutive months, reflecting continued investment in U.S. processing capacity and stronger markets for American farmers thanks to the #RFS. More crush means more homegrown feedstocks for clean fuels. According to the latest @EIAgov data, clean fuel production used 1.55 billion pounds of soybean oil in June alone. That’s nearly as much soybean oil as the industry used during the entire first year of the Renewable Fuel Standard in 2005. #BetterCleanerNow

Today, @EPA announced decisions on 34 petitions from small refineries seeking exemptions (SREs) from tepid 2025 #RFS volumes. At the same time, EPA announced its intention to finalize a supplemental rule before the end of October to ensure that the RINs exempted today are restored to 2026 and 2027 RFS volumes. We thank @POTUS and congressional champions including @ChuckGrassley, @SenJoniErnst and @RepAshleyHinson for working to ensure that RFS exemptions don’t come at the expense of clean fuel producers and farmers.
