This Dussehra, donโt just burn Ravan. Become the warrior who conquers the Ravan within.
Dussehra reminds us that no matter how powerful unrighteousness becomes, it can never extinguish the light of truth forever.
But Sikh wisdom takes this lesson deeper: burning an effigy of Ravana is easy. Burning the Ravana within us - our ego, greed, anger, and arrogance - is the real battle.
To become a Sant, conquer your own mind. To become a Sipahi, stand fearlessly against injustice.
And to become a Sant-Sipahi, carry the strength of a warrior in your arms, the compassion of a saint in your heart, and the unwavering conviction of truth in your soul.
No hatred in the heart. No fear before tyranny. No compromise with injustice.
This Dussehra, let us not merely burn the effigies of evil. Let us resolve to destroy within ourselves everything that takes us away from truth, humility, justice, and the service of humanity.
May Waheguru bless us with the wisdom to distinguish right from wrong, the courage to stand for what is right, and the humility to serve all of humanity.
Be a Sant in your heart. Be a Sipahi in your convictions. Be a servant of truth in your actions.
First conquer your mind. Then dedicate your life to the service of humanity.
Wishing everyone a meaningful and blessed Dussehra.
