GDR trivia: the borders of Bezirk Potsdam were drawn so that it would be the only district that had a border with West Berlin (East Berlin was not technically a district, though of course for practical purposes it was).

My dad lived and worked in Halle in 1980s. In the army. Mr Putin lived and worked in Dresden at the same time. In St Petersburg we lived on the same street as Putin, and my granddad worked in KGB in the same building as Putin. I love Germany πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ β™₯️ I love DDR β™₯️ And Putin did too

15 kl. Bezirke warn's- soviel wie die frΓΌhere SU an Unionsrepubliken hatte. Aufgewachsen bin ich im 1. Leben im Bez. Frankf./O.
