In retrospect, Morell said he regretted attending the meeting. He realized that @BarackObama only wanted him there for political purposes. Morell was to take any blame for the video protest narrative to protect Susan Rice, who was hoping to replace @HillaryClinton as Secretary of State. This is another example of how Pres. Obama only saw the #Benghazi attacks through a purely political lens. Whether it was to protect his own re-election or Rice's candidacy for the Secretary of State job, telling the truth was not an option because it posed too high a political cost.

A 30-year-old Tennessee man is accused of kidnapping a 10-year-old girl from her home, allegedly ripping an air-conditioning unit from her bedroom window and dragging the child into the nearby woods, tying her to a tree, and holding a knife to her throat. Authorities took Steven Devonte Harris into custody Wednesday evening and charged him with two counts of especially aggravated kidnapping, two counts of aggravated assault, aggravated burglary and attempted rape of a child. Harris was booked into the Dyer County Jail and is scheduled to appear in court Monday morning, records show.
