This is amazing, an Olive Ridley sea turtle nested right here in Huntington Beach HBFD Marine Safety responded to the nesting near Tower 15 and immediately worked with NOAA, U.S. Fish & Wildlife, and California Fish & Wildlife to protect the nest and give the eggs the best chance to hatch. Wildlife officials say this may be the first documented sea turtle nesting of any species in California. It has already been registered to vote.
