Thank you to the great @GVNlab, University Professor and The Mikati Foundation Professor of Biomedical Engineering and Medical Sciences, and Director of the Laboratory for Stem Cells and Tissue Engineering at Columbia University, for an invitation to present a talk in her ‘Tissue Talks’ webinar today. Following a remarkably comprehensive – and tremendously kind, generous – introduction by Gordana, I spent ~40 min providing a rapid-fire overview of some of our work in epidermal and 3D bioelectronic systems, both translational and exploratory. Applications in patient care and organoid studies provided some examples beyond technology demonstrations and publications, into deployed systems that address fundamental challenges in medical care and biology research. A set of very insightful questions as part of an extended Q&A period followed my talk. Thanks again to Gordana for the opportunity, and I look forward to continued and future interactions with this community!
