Ye probably the game pass rumors. In fairness we all knew it wasn't sustainable. Then you have the no more exclusives nonsense.. it doesn't work. People are pushed to your platform/box for Exclusives. Game pass has defo hurt the business overall as not enough people are subbed to it. As someone who has been subbed to premium since the beginning. in fact multiple subs if you include my kids.. I would cancel if they remove day 1 games. It loses all its value. It was fun while it lasted..

I honestly couldn't guess at this point. The time limit for GamePass was a bad idea. I would have recommended doing a 365+1 delayed release for new games, while maintaining the endless, open access to previous releases. It'd be easy to justify a delayed release: buying is owning and renting is not, and developers need to make money. Bringing back demo culture, and giving GamePass subscribers early access to demos would be a pretty good way to calm down the reactionaries.
