Two days ago, Ronnie collapsed on the road — exhausted, overworked, and unable to keep his hind legs beneath him. Today, after treatment and rest, he is trying again. He is still wobbly and far from fully recovered, but he is fighting for every step. He even wants to roll in the dust, yet seems to know that if he lies all the way down, getting back up will still be difficult. Ronnie must not return to work. His owner also has severe mobility problems and walks with crutches. He cannot safely ride or operate a standard motorbike-style cart, so this case needs a different solution. Instead of replacing Ronnie with another donkey, we are now looking at helping his owner establish a small grocery shop or another suitable livelihood — so Ronnie can retire permanently and no other animal takes his place. Please SHARE Ronnie’s story. We need new people to see it if we are going to complete his Second Chance. 🫏💙 tawf.org.uk/donate

Wake up. We are the rats.
A farmer, tired of rats destroying his crops and stealing his grain, came up with a clever but cruel plan. He threw a dead pig into a deep, abandoned well. Attracted by the smell, nearly 80 rats rushed into the well to feast on the carcass. At first, everything seemed wonderful. There was more than enough food for everyone, and the rats ate until they were satisfied. But when the food was gone, they discovered something terrifying. The walls of the well were too steep to climb. They were trapped. Days passed, and hunger turned into desperation. Desperation turned into aggression. The rats that had once eaten peacefully beside one another began fighting for survival. Eventually, they began killing and eating each other. One by one, their numbers dwindled until only a single rat remained. Its eyes were bloodshot, and it had survived by consuming its own kind. Then the farmer returned, lowered a rope into the well, and rescued the last surviving rat. But he didn't save it out of kindness or compassion. The farmer knew the rat had learned to survive by hunting other rats. When he released it into his fields, it would continue killing its own kind instead of eating his grain. The farmer had turned his enemy into his greatest weapon. And that is the lesson of divide and conquer. Those who control the trap don't need to fight the battles themselves. They simply create the conditions in which others turn against one another. The rats believed their enemies were the other rats. They never realized that the true enemy was the farmer who had put them there. The greatest danger isn't always the enemy standing in front of you. Sometimes it's the one who created the conflict and stands quietly watching you destroy each other. Before you turn against your neighbor because of their political beliefs, ask yourself who benefits from keeping Americans divided. While we fight each other over Republican and Democrat, we may be overlooking those who profit from the conflict. Perhaps the real question isn't which side you're on, but who built the well—and why they want us fighting at the bottom of it.

Two lives are tied to one decision — and we cannot make the wrong one. This is the donkey who collapsed while pulling a heavily loaded cart. Today, he is safe with us. He is standing again. He is trying to walk again. But his hind legs are still weak and unstable, and one thing is absolutely clear: This donkey is NOT fit to return to work. We cannot send him back to a cart. We cannot put weight behind him again. We cannot wait for him to collapse a second time. But there is another side to this story. His owner came to our shelter today. He himself has a significant mobility impairment and walks with the help of a crutch. And this donkey was his means of earning a living. Since the rescue, he has been calling us repeatedly. He has come to the shelter because he needs his livelihood back. We understand that. But the answer cannot be to send this donkey back to work. So now we have only one humane solution: We must retire this donkey permanently and provide his owner with a specially adapted motorised cart so he can continue earning without ever depending on a working donkey again. This is exactly why TAWF created our Second Chance for Working Equines programme. It is not enough to rescue an exhausted animal for one night and then return him to the same cycle. We have to break that cycle. The donkey must stay safe. The owner must still have a way to earn. And another donkey must never be brought in to replace him. We need your help once again. This case has already touched thousands of people. You helped his story reach the world when he collapsed. Now we need you to help us finish his story properly. Please help us give this donkey the retirement he desperately needs — and give his owner a humane alternative livelihood. We cannot send him back to work. We will not send him back to work. Now we need your help to make sure he never has to work again. Please DONATE if you can. And please SHARE this post. One share can put this story in front of the person who can change both of their lives. ❤️ 🌐 Donate online: tawf.org.uk/donate

Winter is racing towards us. Our donations are not. 💔 At TAWF, when something needs building or fixing, we rarely pick up the phone to hire someone. We buy the materials—and our own team gets to work. The same hands that clean our shelter and care for our animals have helped install CCTV, tackle electrical and plumbing work, repair pumps, dig drainage, plant trees and build our rainwater-harvesting system. Now those same hands are building our winter heating system. Why? Because a commercial system for our large halls could cost us £4,000–£5,000. We simply cannot afford that. Our team members are more than employees. They are animal lovers and part of the TAWF family. They learn, build and work from the heart because every pound we save is another pound that can care for an animal. The heating system is still being built and tested. Before it operates around our animals, we will thoroughly test combustion and exhaust, carbon-monoxide and smoke safety, temperatures, hot surfaces, electrical components and fire safety. We will not compromise their safety to save money. But there is one thing our hands cannot manufacture: the funds to buy the materials. Right now, the work can only move as quickly as donations arrive. Winter is coming fast. Donations are coming slowly. Please help us get these heating systems built, tested and running before the freezing nights arrive. And if you cannot donate, please SHARE—your share can put this appeal in front of the person who can. ❤️ Winter Appeal: tawf.org.uk/winter-appeal-20… Donate: tawf.org.uk/donate

When Lucky Star was first found suffering, THOUSANDS shared, liked and commented. Those shares reached new people—and new helping hands saved him. Today, he is stronger, healing and happy. Yet this update has just 8 comments, mostly from the same loyal circle who always stand with us. Why do we gather only when an animal is at breaking point—or when we are lighting a candle for them? Please don’t wait for suffering to become unbearable before helping a story travel. Lucky Star is not the last animal waiting for us. Countless others are still out there suffering, waiting for the day TAWF can reach them. And we can only reach the next Lucky Star if support keeps reaching us. Celebrate the recovery too. SHARE the happy updates just as fiercely. Because rescue saves them once—but continued support keeps them fed, treated, safe and thriving, and enables us to reach the next animal desperately waiting. Lucky Star is proof: a SHARE can become a helping hand. A helping hand can become a lifeline. ❤️
What you are seeing in Lucky Star today is nothing short of a miracle — and that miracle did not happen by accident. On the night we shared his story, hundreds of people shared it again and again. His story reached completely new people, and new hands came forward to help. In just one night, the support needed to rescue him was arranged. That is the power of sharing. But rescue was only the beginning. Treatment. High-calorie food. Vitamins and minerals. Ongoing veterinary care. A safer, much larger space. Partitions built especially for his needs. And an entire trolley of soft soil brought in and spread across his new area. That is what recovery looks like. And now we can see the difference. His ribs are slowly disappearing. His wounds are healing. His body is getting stronger. His confidence is growing. And he is finally beginning to enjoy life. But none of this happens simply because an animal has been “rescued”. Everything after rescue costs money. Lucky Star is only one of many special-needs animals in our care. Without your help, we simply cannot give every one of them the life they deserve. So when you see Lucky Star looking healthier, stronger and happier, please remember — this transformation was made possible by care, treatment, food, time, space, and support. If you can help, please donate. And if you cannot donate, please SHARE this post. Sharing changed Lucky Star’s life once already. It can do the same for another animal too. ❤️ 🌐 Donate online: tawf.org.uk/donate

Major hasn't felt a human hand in over 545 days. He's a service dog in Austin. A car hit him on a walk last year, and hurt and scared, he bit a woman who tried to pick him up. It was a bad bite. Nobody's denying that. Since then he's been alone in an isolation kennel at the city shelter. Austin wants him put down. His owner says Major helps him with a brain injury and seizures, and a federal court has it on hold while it decides if an outside expert can evaluate him. A hurt dog that bit once deserves a real evaluation before anybody kills him. Should Major get that chance?

To all you commie freaks for whom I've become such a headache...this is why I do this. This is my parents coming home to see everything they'd lost because of your stupid commie leaders. Am I fucking up your little campaigns? Shouldn't have killed John Wick's dog. I had a good life, raising my boys, feeding hummingbirds. You stupid communists defunded our fire department, never maintained the brush on your government property, and you gave $750K raises to the morons who drained our reservoirs during fire season. Fuck. All. Of. You. I will never stop until every last communist is expelled from polite society.

WE NEED TO REACH MORE PEOPLE. PLEASE SHARE. 🙏❤️ So many of you who follow us have already donated and helped our animals again and again. Now I need you to help us reach people who don't know us yet. Our first 75 beds have arrived, but we still need hundreds more. Winter is coming very fast. Soon the nights will be freezing cold, temperatures can drop around 0°C, and sometimes we don't see the sun for days. We have more than 1,000 animals at our sanctuary. Tiny puppies, mothers with babies, sick and injured animals, paralysed dogs, old animals and cats who desperately need warmth. A bed is not a luxury for them. It is protection from the cold. And beds are only one part of it. We need to prepare the whole sanctuary — warm bedding, heaters, fuel, cat houses and covers for the open sheds. Please sponsor even ONE bed if you can. And if you have already donated, please don't worry about giving again. Just SHARE. ❤️ Your share may reach someone new who can sponsor one bed, five beds or ten. Please help us get ready BEFORE the freezing winter arrives. 🙏🐾 Winter Appeal: tawf.org.uk/winter-appeal-20… All donation options: linktr.ee/tahiraanimalwelfar… PLEASE DONATE. PLEASE SHARE. PLEASE HELP US KEEP THEM WARM. ❤️

If even these seven seconds are too painful, you can scroll past. But please understand — I have deliberately NOT shown you what we saw. She was around 30 years old and completely blind in both eyes. Her owner had discarded her when she was no longer useful. Somehow, while wandering blind, she fell into a filthy black drain with hard cement edges. And somehow, she got herself back out. I don't know how long she struggled in there. I don't know how much it hurt. She had also been attacked by dogs. Her body carried deep cuts and bite wounds. Her knees were badly swollen. Her lip was torn. She was starving and exhausted. When our team reached her, her nose and body were cold and her temperature was dangerously low. She was almost lifeless. We tried. But we couldn't save her. I have more than two minutes of footage. I won't show it. Seven seconds are enough. But a few hundred likes, a few dozen shares and a handful of comments are not enough to change the lives of working donkeys. We can close a video because it hurts us to watch. They cannot escape the life they are living. I have called her Hope. Please don't let Hope's story end with seven seconds. SHARE it. Let it travel beyond our little circle. Let it reach the person who can help us replace another donkey cart with a motorised cart and give the next donkey a Second Chance. tawf.org.uk/donate We couldn't save Hope. But together, perhaps we can save the next one. 💔🐴

Everyone keeps asking which calendar is Bruiser in? He’s in this one! For December Andrew included 500 cats from X and Bruiser is in there twice!!! He even has a day! Proceeds go to a cat charity. If you haven’t met Andrew or Gregory yet you’re in for a treat!
Zero AI was used to create Gregory's calendar. Each image is from real astrophotos I took and composited together. I wanted each page to be a unique work of cosmic art, and poured my soul into each one. I hope each month makes you smile!

Good morning to everyone except the Home Depot in Lake City, FL, @LakeCityHD6864 @HomeDepot where a managed cat colony had been peacefully living on the property for 6 years. Every cat was fixed, vaccinated, regularly fed and cared for, and there was an agreement with Home Depot allowing the colony to remain on the property. That changed when a new manager took over and decided the cats were no longer welcome. Rather than giving The Ranch Rescue caretakers who had managed the colony for years an opportunity to trap and safely relocate them, something was done with the cats without their involvement. Two were found dead under circumstances that raised concerns about possible poisoning, then the rest of the colony was removed. Despite repeated requests for information, Home Depot has yet to provide clear answers about what was done with the cats or where the remaining cats are. Six years of responsible colony management, only for a new manager to come along and apparently decide animal cruelty and secrecy were the better option. The cats deserved better, and the people who cared for them deserve answers.

We are SO CLOSE! ❤️ In less than one night, you have brought us within just £190 of buying the motor cart that can permanently retire this old blind horse. PLEASE — one final push. 🙏 Together, we can bring him home TODAY. Please REPOST. ❤️
It’s after 1am and I still cannot sleep. 💔 So many working horses came to us today for treatment. I wanted to take every leash and bring every one of them inside. But this old boy has not left my mind for a single second. He is over 20. Completely blind. His ribs show through his skeletal body. His skin is covered in wounds and marks — his whole life seems written across his body. His owner told us that because he cannot see, he hits himself against things. And tomorrow morning, unless we can change his story, he will go back to work again. I cannot bear that thought. We were too late for Ivory. We were too late for Badal. 💔 But this boy has reached us while there is STILL TIME. Late — but not too late. Through our Second Chance for Working Donkeys project, we can permanently retire him, take him into our sanctuary and replace his animal-drawn cart with a motor cart so his owner can continue earning without ever working him again. PLEASE help me bring him home. I don’t want him working another day. If we can raise what is needed, I want him with us tomorrow. 🙏💔 🌍 DONATE: tawf.org.uk/donate And PLEASE SHARE. Take him onto new timelines, new screens, new hearts. Someone out there can help us end his working life tonight. ❤️

I don’t think I have ever felt this desperate before 💔 Please, PLEASE SHARE this horse. I know so many of you have only just helped us buy Khari’s motor cart. I cannot ask you to give again. But I am begging you to help us carry this story onto new timelines — because somewhere, someone may be able to help us bring him home. He is completely blind. And while I am writing this, he is still working. Look at his body. The rub marks. The scars. The old wounds and the new ones. His owner himself says that because he cannot see, he gets injured again and again. He came to us only for treatment. We desperately wanted to keep him, but his owner supports a large family through his labour and cannot surrender him without an alternative livelihood. So every day it takes us to arrange a motor cart is another day this blind horse remains at work. Through TAWF’s Second Chance for Working Donkeys, we want to exchange his animal-drawn cart for a motor cart, bring him permanently to our sanctuary, and give him what he may never have known — safety, rest, kindness and dignity for the rest of his life. Please share him far and wide. Help us reach the person who can make his freedom possible. ❤️ 🌐 tawf.org.uk/donate Please use “Motor Cart” as the donation reference.
