Over £50k in uncollected fines. This van at Greenwich Park doesn’t display prices so vendors charge what they like to unsuspecting tourists.
Not only do they rip off our visitors, they compromise small, rate-paying family-owned businesses on same street. Is there a solution?
Meanwhile, here in Greenwich we have diesel ice cream vans pumping out poison on our streets for hours! There’s a ban, tickets handed out, but when they make ££££ every hour, they can afford to pay up. They need to be removed! ! @Royal_Greenwich@MrOkereke
“These vans make thousands illegal parking in some of the busiest London tourist traps. They've been moved on, fined and even had their vehicles crushed but nothings stopped them”. @Royal_Greenwichyoutu.be/UQ63ee4sJMQ?is=B-Gc…
I have gone into restaurants and spoken to managers. But it seems they don't pass information on, not to those about to start a shift, nor to newly recruited staff. A question for @firstmile: when removing leaking sacks, why not clear up? gov.uk/guidance/simpler-recy…
We’re fed up with the lack of civic pride from restaurant chains on Greenwich Church street - rubbish left out for hours & no ownership once dumped off their premises. It’s high time for enforcement to pay a visit and fine them. @grind@PizzaExpress#Greenwich#RosasThai@Bills_Food@Royal_Greenwich
Such a great spot for a restaurant, but would anyone in their right mind eat there with that stinking fly infested bin outside the front door!? Stockwell Street, Greenwich.
The stench and the flies coming from the rotten food in the bins outside the Callabash restaurant, Stockwell street in Greenwich is atrocious! How can you run a food business with that outside. Yuk!
