Lord, we release all the battles & pain from those people & events that cause us to be bitter. I lay it all at the foot of the cross, because the weight is heavy & no longer necessary. Lord, just as we release these grudges, we pray You forgive our sins, debts & trespasses. Clear our hearts of negative feelings & replace it with the love & joy they were meant to carry. Lord, release us of chronic pain & emotional baggage as we focus on Your Living Word. Align this day with Your perfect will. Keep us grounded & light the path of today's journey without confusion. Highlight opportunities we are equipped to succeed in, & allow us to let go of our personal failures. Lord, the only man on earth I fear is the one who stares back from the mirror. I pray You help me grow as a man, & as a reflection of Your teachings, as I interact with those around me. Help me communicate with love, because I know I can be abrasive, but I mean no harm to anyone. You should remind your friends that the GOP wants to interpret a midterm loss as a repudiation of Trump and a call for a return to “respectable conservatism,” just like it did in 2018, 2020, and 2022. The GOP will never “learn its lesson” and actually represent its voters. This is a fundamental misunderstanding of what the party has existed for, which is to contain those voters rather than represent them. The only thing that will change that is continuing the process of having Patriots take it over. This has already been remarkably fruitful. It works. We simply need to keep pushing.
