I talked to a couple of my U.S. coworkers today. The trade dispute that’s dominating our news is barely on their radar. Meanwhile, our PM is making headlines for saying he studied the possibility of a U.S. invasion. We’re having two completely different conversations. We have far more at stake economically, yet we’re talking about an invasion while they’ve barely noticed the trade dispute. Can we get back to negotiating?

They’re really laying it on thick. The government is certainly getting its money’s worth from CBC today.
