Identity the unique set of characteristics that can be used to identify a person as themself and no one else. Jewish identity A complex, multifaceted concept that encompasses religious, cultural, ancestral, and national dimensions. Growing up, I don't recall any conscious thoughts of my Jewish identity. I was born a Jew, and have always known that's who I am. But what makes up my Jewish identity? It's a combination of things. My heritage and ethnicity. The peoplehood. My parents are Jewish as were their parents before them, descendants from the Israelites. My religion and faith. The covenant with Hashem, the Torah, the commandments, the relationship with Hashem. Then there's my culture and my community. Shared values, such as Tikkun Olam (repairing the world), charity, education. Shared history and memory. The holidays, the traditions. There are all sorts of different types of Jews. There are different ethnic subgroups - Ashkenazi, Sephardic, Mizrahi. There are different denominations - Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Reconstructionist. And, of course, a connection to the historic and spiritual homeland of Judaism and of Jews. While there are differences amongst Jews, there are also commonalities, and the combination for each one makes up our identity. We are a monotheistic religion - this is part of our identity. We believe in repairing the world - this is part of our identity. We are the descendants of Israelites - this is part of our identity. We are the people of Israel - this, too, is part of our identity. Whether you're Ashkenazi or Sephardic, Reform or Orthodox, whether you're from Baltimore or Ethiopia, whether you've been to Israel 100 times or never, you are a Jew. Some people may believe that if you worship idols you're also a Jew, or if you forsake Israel you're also a Jew. And they may be right. But from my perspective, you're lost. And likely having a major identity crisis.

Why do people keep the 2 state dream alive? Why do people believe that this is still a viable option in the Middle East? What makes people think that the Arabs even want it? Critical thinking time. Let's stop thinking emotionally. Let's stop thinking about what we think others might want. Let's stop projecting our own opinions onto others. Let's look at data. Facts. Let's look at history. In 1947 plans were being drawn up to split the British Mandate between the two groups of people living there, Arabs and Jews. In the plan, each would get a State. The Arabs refused to participate in the planning, and attacked Israel the day after it declared independence. Multiple times since then, there have been offers of recognition of a state for the Arabs, in exchange for peace. Each time, those offers were declined. And each time, the Arabs attacked. Killing, raping, kidnapping as many Jews as they could. Land was captured by Israel in some of the battles. The West yelled for the land to be returned. “Give them the original 1948 borders”, the West yells Why? Why would there be peace with what was offered in 1948? The first time it was offered 5 different countries attacked Israel. What makes you think it would be different today? "Give them the '67 borders and there will be peace" the West yells. Why? Why would there be peace in 2026 if the Arabs had the '67 borders? There wasn't peace in '67 when they had those borders. So tell me, Westerners, why do you continue to yell for 2 states? What makes you think it's viable? What proof do you have that the Arabs want 2 states? That they would live peacefully if they had their own state? The only thing having 2 states would do, is give them more autonomy so they could push forward at their attempts to wipe out Israel without being stopped. There can never be 2 states when one side refuses to recognize the other's existence, and refuses to stop trying to destroy it. The 2 state plan is dead. It's gone. It's over. The fat lady has sung. The Arabs have shown the world time and time again they're not interested. Stop keeping the dream on life support. It's time to pull the plug, and move on.

When people started to believe the threat of global warming and climate change, world leaders started to work together. Committees and forums were formed, discussions were had, and strategies started to emerge for how to deal with the threat to our civilization, to our planet. When it was discovered that the world had a fast-spreading virus that was jumping international borders and claiming the lives of countless people, people started working together throughout the world to understand the threat, to develop vaccines, to put in procedures and rules that they thought would best help keep COVID from growing and spreading in their countries. We have a threat to our civilization again, and the world isn’t doing anything about it. They’re not discussing it. They’re not even acknowledging the existence of the threat. The Muslim Extremists, under the labels of Hamas, the Muslim Brotherhood, the Islamic Regime of Iran, have initiated a global operation to conquer our civilization, to wipe out anyone that isn’t them, to implement Sharia law everywhere. And the world? The international community? Silent. Some are discussing the threat to their own nation, but nobody is taking about this on a global level. Nobody is discussing the threat to our democracies and freedom. The U.N. assembled an Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change. They launched a $2B coordinated global Humanitarian Response Plan to fight COVID. If we’re waiting on the U.N. to step in to address the current risk, our civilization is truly fucked. They’ve demonstrated loud and clear which side they’re on. And it isn’t the West.

If a religion has that many clauses to tell their followers who they can and can’t kill, something is very wrong. How about just “thou shall not kill”? I guess some religions say “thou shall kill certain people”

What will it take for the people of Gaza and of Judea and Samaria, to have peace? Have they ever had it? Would they even recognize it if they did? Are they capable of it? People talk about how “there was peace on Oct 6”, but when I think about it, that’s not possible. There was no war on Oct 6, but peace should not be defined simply as the absence of war. Peace also comes from within, it’s a feeling of acceptance, of tranquility, of serenity. I don’t believe the Palestinian people had that on Oct 6. I don’t think they’ve ever known it in their lifetimes. And it’s not entirely their fault. Since birth, they’ve been taught their neighbours are the enemy, are pigs, are the devil. Since birth, they’ve been taught that their land was stolen from them. Since birth, they’ve been taught that their purpose in this life is to die, to martyr themselves, to attack, to kill. Since birth, they’ve been taught that they are the perpetual victims, that they can do no wrong, but that the world has constantly wronged them. Since birth, they’ve been taught that they are owed, that they are “due”. How could anyone be at peace when those are the lessons that have been ingrained into them? The people of Israel have been at war for 80 years, even before people called themselves “Palestinians”. They’ve been attacked countless times by various Muslim countries and territories, and have had to constantly be on alert for the next attack. But they are taught very different lessons. They are taught to repair the world, not to attack it. They are taught to value life, not to want to take it. They are taught to live, not to die. So, while Israel has seen way more war than the Palestinians ever will, I believe they’ve known more peace than the Palestinians ever will. The type of peace that comes from inside of them. From being grateful for what they have. From taking personal accountability and not blaming others. For focusing on life, on their time here on Earth, not on death, and what happens after they die. The type of peace that the Palestinian people will never get from foreign countries recognizing them as a State. The type of peace that they will never realize as long as Qatar and Hamas and the Muslim Brotherhood use them as pawns in their game. The type of peace that is only achievable, if they learn to love themselves and their children, more than they hate Israelis and Jews. The type of peace that everyone has a right to.

Each day, we hear more stories about people who have immigrated to Western countries and their behaviors. Disruption. Intimidation. Vandalism. Violence. Terrorism. Sexual attacks. These people left countries which were ruled by Islam, presumably to escape Sharia. They claimed “persecution” and “fear for their lives”. They used all the buzzwords that they knew would get them into Western countries, based on the immigration laws the bleeding hearts created. And it worked. They’re here. Having children born in Western countries to cement their status as permanent residents and citizens. Making it impossible to deport them. And then they act the same way here as the actions they claimed they were trying to escape. They don’t want to be part of our countries. They never did. They want Sharia? Great. Send them back to it. They want the right to terrorize? Awesome. Send them back to countries that promote terrorism. They don’t want to live amongst Jews? Fine. Let them go back to their countries that have no Jews living there. But don’t let them destroy our countries. Don’t let them turn our countries into the very ones they were trying to escape. Develop laws to strip their citizenship and deport them. This isn’t about Jews. This is about global jihad and an Islamic caliphate. They’re only starting with us. They’ll come for you too. Don’t let them destroy our world.

Today at the UN, delegates got up and left when the Prime Minister of a country who were the victims of a horrific terror attack that kicked off a 3 year war was speaking, but stayed for the President of a regime that murdered around 100,000 of its own citizens because they were protesting. Zero moral clarity.
