I have replayed this imaginary situation 47 times, found three witnesses, and I am prepared to defend my completely made up position all the way to the bitter end. 😂

I was my brother’s girlfriend’s worst nightmare, and honestly, I wore that title proudly. I ran every one of them through the wringer, asked the uncomfortable questions, watched how they treated people when nobody was looking, and made sure they knew my brother came with a built-in lie detector named me. Some probably thought I was too much. Maybe I was. But I saved him a whole lot of heartache, wasted time, and a few “what was I thinking?” stories. That’s what sisters do. We may tease them, aggravate them, and borrow their stuff without asking, but nobody gets to hurt our brother without answering to us first. 💛

I always wonder what the little ones are thinking about. They’ll be laying in the dirt, staring up at the sky, looking as serious as a farmer watching the weather forecast, just quietly contemplating their next move. You know they’re either planning how to climb something they shouldn’t, figuring out where the dog buried that treasure, or deciding whether one more handful of dirt would really hurt anything. 💛

It’s not only the politicians who seem to be in cahoots with each other. Democrats act like Republicans, Republicans act like Democrats, and meanwhile they all keep us fighting among ourselves while the same big machine keeps rolling right over the working people. George Carlin said it best: “It’s a big club, and you ain’t in it.” And the mainstream media plays the same game. Fox News ridicules CNN, ABC, CBS, and the rest every single day, and sometimes rightfully so. But then they turn around and defend the same system’s ability to push narratives, half-truths, selective reporting, and outright fake news when it benefits their side. They may wear different colors, use different slogans, and argue on television like enemies, but too often they are protecting the same club. The biggest trick they ever pulled was convincing regular Americans that their neighbor is the enemy, while the people at the top keep getting richer, more powerful, and farther removed from the real world.
