I don’t blame him, i’d be pissed off playing the game he did and your OC basically taking the ball out of his hands to β€œlimit mistakes”.

Kelvin Sheppard is a pathetic DC. A good DC can make it work with bad players, this is just downright bad coaching. I don’t care how difficult it is to hire a new DC during the season or even 4 games into it. There is truly no way it can be any worse than this.

Dude i’m seriously just watching Michigan football right now

I swear if Kelvin Sheppard at minimum isn’t fired by the end of the season i’m done supporting this team. You can have the number 1 offense year after year, but if you aren’t at least a middle of the pack defense, you will never even sniff the play offs.

You’re telling me I had to watch penalties kill Michigans drives and now watch the Lions do the same thing

I just find it unbelievable that teams commit 0 penalties on us while we get called for literally anything we do.

And on that note… Amount of total penalties and yardage: Michigan=38 (332 total yards) Opponents=24 (180 total yards) Michigan averages: 7.6 penalties and 66.4 yards/per game

There has to be a reason and I feel it has a lot to do with how physical the team is during practices. Players talk about it all the time, and as much as it might help with the fundamentals, (lowest missed tackle % in the NFL) is it even worth the risk of injury?
Every NFL team battles injuries in season Some more than others....

NIL has shown things I never thought I would ever witness.

I should feel something. But I really just feel absolutely nothing.

Pretty sad when a normal person can sit on the couch and realize this every week but a coach who earns millions and has coached for 20+ years can’t.
Jason Beck is doing the worst thing a coordinator can do, forcing his scheme and not adjusting to the strength of personnel. The stubbornness is insanity.

Bryce had his best week last week rolling out of the pocket and we haven’t done it once πŸ˜‚

I don’t think Jason Beck will ever realize that this isn’t the same Utah team he called plays for last year.
