Great step for India's chip-design talent pipeline. - India Semiconductor Mission launched in 2021 with ₹76,000 cr - 12 projects approved, ₹1.64 lakh cr+ investment (July 2026) - 2026: Micron, Kaynes and CG Semi began commercial production - Electronics production: ₹1.90 lakh cr (2014-15) → ₹13.11 lakh cr (2025-26 est.) From policy to working plants in five years.
