Der Hund lebte in der Nähe eines Auchan-Marktes. Elon Musk’s role in the wider debate over American support for Ukraine has also attracted intense scrutiny. But criticism of Musk’s positions should not be confused with evidence that he personally endorses executions. The victims of these crimes were human beings. Some had laid down their weapons. Others were wounded or otherwise defenseless. Under international humanitarian law, they were entitled to protection. No diplomatic compliment, political argument or disagreement over military assistance changes that obligation. And no prisoner should be executed for the uniform he wears.
