Eric, the big oil savings piggy bank is being used by Trump right now. He's taking out oil to help with war problems so gas stays cheaper. The plan is 172 million barrels total. Over 130 million are already out, leaving the bank at its lowest in over 40 years. To put oil back later, we need the special kind of crude that is medium weight and not too full of sulfur so it fits the caves properly.

Great. So where exactly do schools apply for the federal funding needed to implement this vanity project? Asking for teachers and school districts nationwide that may now be expected to replace or revise textbooks, atlases, classroom maps, wall charts, worksheets, assessments, digital curriculum, LMS content, GIS resources, library materials, and teacher-created lessons that still say “Lake Ontario.” And who pays for the staff time required to identify, edit, reprint, reorder, and redistribute all of it? Surely the administration that lectures everyone about government waste has already budgeted for these completely unnecessary costs… right?... right?????

The crime drop is good news. But turning it into “Republicans made America safe again” is partisan bullshit. FBI data show violent crime was already falling 3.0% in 2023 and 4.5% in 2024, before Trump returned to office, then fell another 9.3% in 2025. Give the thousands of federal, state, local and tribal officers doing the work some credit instead of turning them into campaign props. And “Democrats want to defund law enforcement” as a blanket statement is the same tired bullshit. Some Democrats embraced that slogan. Plenty of us never did. Safer communities should be something Americans celebrate together…. not another excuse for Mike Johnson to rewrite history and divide the country.
