Glasgow's other Garden Show: @The_RHS set up an offshoot of their Chelsea show at Strathclyde Park in 1997. Initially visitor numbers were good but fell enough for the event to be cancelled after the third year. Very little online about this, but the events manager was a 1988...

Little did we know after our first visit to photograph the Broadway Prestwick, that we’d be back more than 20 years later to see real film projected on its big screen once again!

In the area so popped in to Greenbank Gardens to see this a well known Garden Festival (and Empire Exhibition) centrepiece. What was a surprise was this magnificent GGF embroidery. Sadly, staff knew nothing of its provenance but I do like the way it celebrates the Clyde Tunnel.
