Sundays are for Scituate Football Stats! The defending Division 4 Super Bowl Champions Scituate Sailors opened their 2026 campaign this past Friday night at home against rival Duxbury. Behind 4 turnovers the Sailors were able to secure a 21-0 win against the Dragons. Jr QB @TylerStelljes10 led the way for Scituate accounting for all three TDs. His first TD would come with 45 second left in the 1st when he found Jr WR @thomasmurray03 in the back of the endzone. Late in the 2nd quarter the Jr QB would put his legs to work running for a 10 yard TD making the score 14-0 at the half. Finally Stelljes would find Jr WR Danny Duane for a 25 yard TD strike. Stelljes finished the night with 160 all purpose yards, going 10/14 for 100 yards passing with 2 TDs and running for another 60 yards. Sr Captain RB @GraysonFoley_ also shined in the shutout victory rushing for 125 yards on 20 carries! Defensively, the Sailors were able to produce 4 turnovers, all through the air in their home victory against the Dragons. Sr @ChrisWeber_07 was the on the receiving end of 2 of those Duxbury throws, collecting 2 INTS. While @GraysonFoley_ made a leaping INT in the back of the endzone and SO @JackMurphy_23 made a diving INT late in the 4th to help secure the win. @Declan199440871 was all over the field as he was in on 8 tackles, while Sr Captain @OwenMorley7186 had 6 tackles of his own and a sack in the win. The Sailors hit the road this coming Friday night when the travel to Norwell for a highly competitive matchup against the Clippers at 7pm! @ScitFootball Go Sailors!!!

There is no question that @GraysonFoley_ deserves the recognition he is getting as the preseason kicks off in a few days However the Sr captain and @_BryantBaseball commit will be the first to tell it’s a total team effort!
