Interesting. Hakeem Jeffries subtly rebukes some Dems and organized labor for seeking a middle ground on Trump's tariffs, suggesting it muddies what should be the overall Dem stance, that Trump is taking a "chainsaw to the economy": newrepublic.com/article/1938…

Good, sounds like Jeffries understands the auto industry is a global industry transcending UAW & Detroit 3. Usually it’s pols outside of MI, that are forward thinkers, who actually get it.

0% about fighting trump and 100% about poisoning the well for future Democrats who might actually want to revitalize domestic industry

It really is the fatal flaw of dems. The understanding that "x" thing has legitimate use, renders them incapable of solely & completely rejecting the illegitimate & reckless use of "x". Providing an heir of legitimacy, undermining thier opposition.

Good! Biden announcing that he's the "pro-union" president and even joining a picket line for the first time, obviously did not work too well. Too many unions are too racist. Also, a check on fucking Bernie Sanders claiming that Dems should only care about working whites.
