Meet Gemma Mattinson, one of the organisers of the "Pink Ladies." She claims she wants to protect women and girls. In 2011, she and her then boyfriend, Ian Barclay, were jailed for child cruelty after being filmed forcing two children, both under the age of 8, to physically fight each other while they laughed. A young girl was ordered to hit a boy with a broom and plastic sticks. When the boy tried to hide, he was dragged across the floor and slammed into a radiator. They both pled guilty. She was sentenced to 8 months in prison, and her ex received a 12-month sentence. Now, she has rebranded herself and is targeting asylum seekers staying in hotels.

Sometimes I agree with them, and sometimes I disagree. “What I always do, however, is respect those decisions and the autonomy of the bodies that make them. Whether we personally like a decision or not is irrelevant. Respect for independent institutions and the rule of law is what protects the integrity of our competitions and the credibility of FIFA at all times.”
