Also, this seems to speak to the very criticisms of federal agents wearing masks, no?
Video of an ICE agent pulling a gun on a wife and mother, who is a US citizen born and raised in the area, near Bailey's Crossroads in Northern Virginia yesterday.
Chillingly, they claimed she “almost ran them over” until she told them she had video proving that was a lie.

These speeding ticket fines are outrageous. There has to be a better way to deter speeding or incentivize safer driving in the District.

These speed limit infraction changes are now officially in effect, as of August 7, 2026!
Basically, D.C. is moving to clarify the speeding ranges that get you certain fines. Currently, anything from 11-15 mph over the speed limit is a $100 fine. But @DDOTDC wants to change it to "more than 10 mph" up to 15. Minor wording change, significant impact.
