London gold holdings have been climbing sharply. LBMA data shows approximately 9,632 tonnes held in London vaults at the end of August, up from roughly 9,339 tonnes at the end of March. That increase overlaps directly with the Dutch relocation. DNB shifted approximately 86 tonnes toward London between March and August... equivalent to nearly 30% of the net increase in reported London vault holdings over that period.

The Netherlands just moved 86 tonnes of gold closer to home. London’s share of Dutch reserves jumped from 18.1% to 32.1%, while New York’s fell from 31.3% to 18.5%. The reason? Geopolitical uncertainty. Crisis preparedness. Liquidity. Central banks are thinking about where their gold is. You should too.

I’ve been calling for the US Dollar Index (DXY) to reach 102 for weeks. We’re getting close. That’s another piece of evidence supporting a short-term selloff in metals. If DXY tags 102, I’ll be watching for metals to put in a bottom... just as Chinese traders return from Golden Week. Talk about perfect timing.

Next downside Silver Level I am watching is $58.66 Chinese Golden Week is coming up so metals could see some downside in the meantime...
