openai seems to be holding back its models longer if the AECI comparisons hold up they had astra internally for 2–3 months before release which is hinted during their jalapeño chip development and held back 6.1 astra entirely they've also likely had the Navier–Stokes checkpoint for BEL internally for over two months and may already be using a newer checkpoint judging by the math results released a few weeks ago
