2 years ago today, I would've been thrilled to hear that one of our users landed a $20/hr job at a bar/restaurant on their college campus Today, creators on SideShift got paid $1.5m For context: That's 75,000 hours of bartending (aka 300,000 vodka sodas) Jobs of the future will look much different then they do today, SideShift is on a mission to accelerate this movement

Every brand needs to win on short form in 2026 Regardless if you are a consumer, prosumer, or B2B product - you inevitably need to produce winning short form ads UGC at scale is the cheapest, fastest, and most effective way to test what formats work for your brand So you can double down with different creator archetypes (genders, ages, followings, etc) We look at UGC as the first step of short form advertising. Everything evolves from these learnings

How do you find the "next big creator?" U dont. U find what video works We don't look for big creators. We look at what the video did last week, because sideshift tracks every post that goes through us and the data does not care who made it Your next best performer is probably someone with 10 followers who nobody has booked yet Take them on. Give them a format that works. COOK.

The older I get, the more I realize that anybody who has achieved any sort of success in their life has eaten shit for years and worked incredibly hard to get there On the surface, you could easily write off John Cena’s success - chalk it up to being jacked, charismatic, and in the right place at the right time but the reality is he ate shit for 5+ years in no name stadiums trying to become a WWE star Any successful story comes with a grind. There are no handouts. Keep grinding.

higgsfield.ai spent $80,000 to outbid ALL sponsors of my HYROX race. It happened 8 hours ago. 2 sponsors fought back and outbid Higgsfield: - samslist.com by @notgokgreen (right calves — $4k) - peptideconfidential.com (left quad — $8k) Auction ends in 19 hours → hyrox.marclou.com

Gentle reminder that while the Super Bowl of UGC is coming up (aka Q4), if you constantly feel like you’re “behind” then it may be a good time to start grounding yourself & actively trying to not spread yourself thin to achieve *every* single thing possible #ugc #ugccommunity

For those running UGC campaigns... Please don't quit in the first 30 days We have seen strong evidence that majority of campaigns hit their initial growth spurts between months 2 - 4 If you can hang on and continually iterate on formats that are showing promise, you will be successful But if you waiver at the first sign of instability then you might as set your cash ablaze
