It’s dodgy, but is it illegal? If the contract and the money was paid by Etihad to City then it should be above board for City. If Etihad cooked the books surely that’s outside of the PL jurisdiction? Do the PL audit every sponsor of every team now?

Is anyone checking the dates on the emails? The dates are about 2 years apart. The emails are sent to different people (no email has same or copied recipient). These emails are forged, IMO.
