Thank you, Senator @TeamBettencourt, for being a voice of reason and an advocate for hardworking Harris County residents.
The property tax comparison that should stick: Houston held property tax bills flat. Harris County Dems raised them again. The average county bill is now $2,164 — almost as much as HISD. That is the record heading into November.
In November, vote Republican across the ballot. It's common sense!

Had to talk about Harris County Commissioners court Maximum Smash Property tax hike and the fact they have raised property tax bills AN 👀41% in three years!
By my office's calculation, the average Harris County Home's property tax bill will be $2164/yr only 50 bucks less than HISD's average home!
That's not good news for county Taxpayers as they have the highest tax rate in decades 67.2 cents, and that means everyone pays it...ALL residential, commercial, and industrial properties.
Simply put, the Socialist Democrat majority on Harris County Commissioners Court is blowing thru all the Affordability Stop🛑Signs in this frothy political year!
HRBC Chair Alan Hassenflu asked me to compare what the City of Houston is doing on Ptax bills compared to Harris County, and in my best "Trumpster" I quipped that the City, Mayor @whitmire_john , Fred Flickinger, Willie Davis @atlarge2davis , @AmyPeck , and Julian Ramirez are the WINNERS for keeping Ptax bills flat, and Harris County Commissioners the LOSERS for smashing their Property taxpayers!
Lots of (drop AI, LOL) make it Superior Intelligence Data Center's investment, jobs, and tax base discussion to communities around them. But the power, water, and other infrastructure concerns have to be worked thru! These Companies need to listen to residents concerns, and if you play a good social media post by Commissioner @TomSRamsey2 , you'll see that the Three Leftist Progressives weren't listening to their residents.

🚨 ICYMI 🚨
Governor @GregAbbott_TX @GovHotWheels_TX secured a historic $7.5 BILLION reimbursement for Texas taxpayers.
DHS @SecMullinDHS confirmed it. @POTUS @realDonaldTrump delivered it.
Texas held the line when Washington would not. Operation Lone Star cut illegal crossings by more than 80%, stopped criminals, and seized deadly drugs — and Texas taxpayers paid the bill to do it.
Now Washington is paying Texas back.
This is what happens when leaders enforce the border instead of making excuses.
Harris County needs that same seriousness on crime, spending, and public safety this November. Vote Republican in every race on the ballot.
