The Bloomberg Terminal is the gold standard for up-to-date financial information and analysis. But not everyone has the deep pockets to pay for it. So I built a tool that points AI at the US economy and gave it a Druckenmiller lens: liquidity first, forward-looking, follow the Fed. The result is HPG Macro View. Live data and sharp analysis with a clear, lightweight, panoptic view of where the US sits. Free from Hot Pixel Group. 🔥 macro.hotpixelgroup.com

I first read "The Last Question" many years ago but it feels more real today than it ever has as AI moves ahead. Isaac Asimov is a time traveler. users.ece.cmu.edu/~gamvrosi/…

A few weeks ago I was able to sell all the Blake2b tokens I was gifted by Luke. To celebrate, I have added this new whip to my collection. Thank you to all that made this possible! Here’s to more hardforks! 🥂 Bitcoin only.

The “free market” at work. Buy bitcoin:native and opt out of this madness.
🚨 JOSH HAWLEY EXPLAINS HIS NO VOTE ON THE CLARITY ACT 🚨 Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) was one of four Republicans (including @SenThomTillis, who switched his vote at the last minute) to break with the party and sink the crypto bill's advance in the Senate. His reasoning: "My concern is all to do with farmers in my state. Ag is our number one industry in Missouri, and farmers are so concerned they won't be able to get loans from small-town banks, because investors will leave those banks chasing the yields available under the bill." @HawleyMO said Sen. @JerryMoran, who also voted no, has language that could fix it - calling the issue "pretty doable" to resolve. "We've got to make sure those banks stay in operation, stay competitive, and have enough capital to make loans or our Missouri economy will collapse."

5. More reason to build Bitcoin businesses in America. Clear compliance requirements could encourage companies, developers, and investment to remain in the U.S. Keeping innovation and investment domestically is an explicit objective of the legislation.

If the US does not pass CLARITY, we shoot ourselves in the foot as the rest of the world moves ahead with the digital transformation of money and market structure itself — a decision so profoundly stupid it's impossible to explain without shaking your head.

4. A clearer path for wider adoption. Predictable rules could make banks, brokers, and investment firms more comfortable offering Bitcoin services, improving access and competition.

2. Less policy uncertainty across administrations. Putting the framework into federal law would give Bitcoin businesses a firmer basis for long-term planning.

3. Protection for holding your own Bitcoin. The Senate framework includes protections for self-custody and for software developers who do not control customer funds.

1. Clearer oversight of Bitcoin exchanges. It would establish a federal framework for digital-commodity exchanges, brokers, and dealers under the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC). That matters for the spot market where people buy and sell actual Bitcoin.

Bitcoin doesn't need CLARITY. However, this is why CLARITY is important for $BTC in America:

The only reason Clarity Act hasn’t passed yet is b/c crypto disrupts traditional banking model… It’s really that simple. We can talk ethics, BRCA, etc. But it all boils down to crypto reducing need for banks as intermediaries & disrupting net interest income model. And the politicians who are incentivized to support that model.

Most X traders are not serious people.
🚨 SOMETHING VERY STRANGE IS HAPPENING Congress holds CLARITY Act hearings TOMORROW. But the market is already pricing the delay. Translation: Nothing is getting finished tomorrow. Last time CLARITY got delayed: Bitcoin: $97K → $61K -38%. Four weeks ago, I warned you about this exact setup: Hype → delay → panic → insiders accumulate → eventual passage Now we’re entering that phase again. Tomorrow can bring the headlines. It can bring the pump. But if nothing actually passes, that pump becomes the trap. Retail buys the headline. Insiders take the liquidity. Then comes the shakeout. And only AFTER that comes the real accumulation. The bill doesn’t need to fail. It only needs to be delayed. That’s the trap. Retail is waiting for CLARITY. Insiders are waiting for the bottom. Reminder: I’ve been trading markets for more than 15 years. I’m watching the insiders and the liquidity around this setup very closely. When I see the move that matters, I’ll post it here publicly like I always do. Turn notifications on. If you’re not following yet, you’ll understand why that was a mistake later.

Blows my mind how people dismiss CLARITY and its impact on Bitcoin.
"If we got anything postive on Clarity [Act], I think crypto would go up far faster than people realize." "Bitcoin to $100,000 if we get Clarity? Yes, yes. That type of move to me." @jvisserlabs thinks Clarity Act could send Bitcoin much higher.

TINA
In July, I called on the Senate to advance the Clarity Act — a bill to establish a comprehensive regulatory framework for digital assets and upgrade our ability to prevent bad actors from exploiting these critical technologies. When the Senate returns from August recess, I strongly urge everyone to remain at the negotiating table, agree to the motion to proceed, and continue the legislative process. Failing to do so would send a troubling signal to our allies and adversaries alike that America is unwilling to lead on the future of digital assets and willing to forgo enhanced national security tools to combat their misuse.

Have you thought about your Bitcoin legacy? What happens to the Bitcoin you’ve spent years accumulating when it’s no longer yours to protect? Tonight, at Bit-at-Night, @FlemmingTiler joins to share The Greek Chain, his long-term plan for passing Bitcoin through his family and across generations. Because the real question isn’t only “Can I preserve it?” …it’s “Can they?” 🧬₿ Set your reminder! @tiffany_varty @HarryGBeckwith @14g23h34

I resigned from Anthropic today. I spent the last three years doing pretraining research at both OpenAI and Anthropic. Neither company is acting responsibly. They are racing straight to self-improving superintelligence and gambling with our lives. More thoughts below.

After observing the last few months in Bitcoin, there ought to be an annual Bitcoin Darwin Awards. Orange carpet, tuxedos, big event. Santa Monica 2027.
