HALO | UNSC Earth Staging Area | Blender Animation.
We’re getting close to the final look and feel for the scenes of what has become a bit of a mega project.
Mocap for the pilots is sorted. The assets for ships are sorted. The enviroment including hanger bays are sorted.
Now to tie it all together!
Animation by me @venturepictures and @Hartwell_Design

I see this as a good excuse to tell even more of our own Halo stories and expand the lore.
I’ll be doing exactly that with my characters: Spartan Fox, an ONI redacted Spartan III, and Spartan IV Rigel.
Stranded. Without Backup. And enemies on all sides.

I’m all for a mini boom of Halo content creation in an otherwise awful time but some of you please double check those NDAs and the expiration date on them. They might still be enforceable (or they might not). ✌️

Nothing in this Halo-inspired hangar built by @Hartwell_Design is here by accident.
Pelicans, flight crews, crates, and platforms give the space a sense of scale and constant activity.
💡 For large scenes, use your biggest asset to establish scale, then layer in smaller props.

We never really get to see the Insurgents of Halo outside of just basic marine armor with the Innie logo, so I decided to give them some new life.
Basing these designs off old 'Halo Wars' concept art, lmk what they need next.

No matter the future I'll always be incredibly proud of the art I & so many other talented artists had the commissioned opportunity to create for HaloFest's promo & marketing celebrating the soul of Halo.
I hope to show it to you someday.

Very curious to see if Halofest is still happening, I so wanted to finally meet many friends & contacts from the community, but hoping to hear more.
Awful timing for this news that affects so many to fall on an anniversary of Halo 3: ODST, sad jazz playing in my head seeing it

Who all is going to #halofest this December? It’ll be my first time getting to attend a Halo community event, and would love to say hey to as many wonderful people in this community at the convention as I can!
