It’s mystifying to me. Air crew have to clear the same security as passengers do. At least in North America that’s the case. I am not sure about the UAE, but I suspect it is the case. So how did the First Officer get a knife on board to do this?
Turns out the copilot stabbed the pilot in an attempt to hijack a plane full of Israelis. The pilot was able to signal air traffic control but the plane rapidly descended some 17,000 feet or half its altitude which caused passengers to rush the cockpit, subdue the copilot & help the pilot land in KSA. What a wild incident & @flydubai is going to have a lot to answer for about their pilot screening.

Bad news for the Conservative Party of BC. Even with OneBC polling in the gutter, the undemocratically selected leader of the Conservative Party, Lorne Doerkson, is proving to be unpopular @ 27% favorability. Turns out not holding nomination races & packing the Conservative party full of former BC Liberals, is proving a weak strategy. It was also a very bad idea to allow back the very MLAs who trashed the Conservative party publicly for weeks, who then joined CenterBC, then stabbed that party in the back, as well. David Eby has 11% more British Columbians approving of his leadership, vs Doerkson. How is that possible? If OneBC or CenterBC surge even by 5% in the polls, the Conservatives likely will lose the next election. storage.ghost.io/c/5a/2c/5a2… @BCConservCaucus @Conservative_BC

Delusional!! China opened over 100 new coal plants last year alone.
For more than 30 years, Canada and China have worked together on the environment. 🇨🇦🇨🇳 In Beijing this week, we’re deepening that cooperation to lower global emissions, protect nature, and open new opportunities for Canadian clean tech.

I try not to swear too much on this app but this is fucking disgusting.
On the third anniversary of October 7, students at @UofT will hold a vigil, not for the innocent Israelis raped, murdered, and kidnapped that day, but for the animals who carried out those attacks. What's happened to this once great country is appalling.

BIG BREAKING UPDATE 🚨🚨🚨🚨
🚨BIG BREAKING 🇮🇱🇵🇰🇮🇳🚨 According to Israeli sources, the co-pilot involved in the attempted hijacking of the Dubai–Tel Aviv flight was of Pakistani origin 🇵🇰 but held Omani citizenship 🇴🇲. His father is reportedly from Pakistan, while his mother is Omani, and his family had migrated to Oman. Sources claim that his motive was to crash the plane and k**ll everyone on board. But thankfully, the Indian-origin captain did not let that happen. What stands out is the courage of the Indian captain, Captain Smith, who reportedly fought to protect more than 200 passengers on board. People of different nationalities and religions were on that flight. In a moment of crisis, protecting human life should come before nationality, religion, or politics. 🇮🇳✈️❤️ . . . . . . . . . #CaptainSmithMachher #SmithMachher #IndianPilot #IndianHero #Aviation #AviationNews #Pilot #Bravery #HeroicPilot #AviationSafety #FlightSafety #India #IndianPride #UAE #Israel #PilotHero #AviationCommunity #BreakingNews #Flydubai #FZ1073 #Dubai #Oman #Omani #TelAviv #Israel #SaudiArabia #Tabuk #Aviation #BreakingNews #PlaneIncident #Hijacking #Pilot #CoPilot #AviationNews #MiddleEast #FlightFZ1073 #DubaiToTelAviv #Pakistan #Iran

I hope to see a post soon with the following ingredients 1. The photos of the Omani terrorist masquerading as pilot 2. The handlers. With the caption 'Mossad found and located them, IDF deleted them. Never forget never forgive' The countdown has begun.

A true hero for sure! did he land the plane? How did the plane land with that hero pilot serverely injured and the terroist co-pilot being stopped, held by the Isreali heros that subdued him? Was the pilot able to land the plane or did someone else?
My salute to the Indian pilot Captain Smit Machchhar for his extraordinary bravery. Despite being stabbed and seriously injured, he fought back, resisted, opened the cockpit door, and enabled passengers and crew to overpower the attacker — preventing a catastrophic mid-air disaster. He saved the lives of 174 people, including Israeli citizens and other nationals. I wish Captain Machchhar a speedy and full recovery. He is a true hero.

Just one piece of evidence to substantiate this. Here's a memo from the "Election Investigation Team" to JP Cooney and Ray Hulser on Smith's team. They were referring to Sen. Ron Johnson and Rep. Mike Kelley--

Five years ago today, the Tk'emlúps band made the false claim that the bodies of 215 children were found buried in unmarked graves next to the Kamloops Indian Residential School. This is not true, and it is important that we stand for the truth. That is exactly why we made the documentary Making A Killing on the subject. Check it out!

Prime Minister Carney’s address to the European Parliament in Strasbourg rested on several foundational errors. The claim that freedom was won “thanks to the heroism of the European resistance” is historically false. Western Europe was liberated by the armed forces of the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. The subsequent emancipation of the Soviet empire was the product of the American strategy of containment. Canada’s role was particularly notable: a volunteer force from a country that had never been attacked or threatened by the Axis powers. The European institutions have succeeded in reducing internal economic barriers and managing inter-state cooperation. As an economic administration, however, they have not been a success at all. In 2008 the GDP of Europe and the United States were roughly equal; the United States now stands at 140 percent of the EU’s. Much of this relative decline is attributable to the prolonged suppression of fossil fuels—an agenda Carney himself promoted for years. Carney also omitted the decisive commercial reality: Canada sends roughly 70 percent of its exports to the United States (98% of which is unaffected by the recent tariffs) and only 6 percent to Europe. The United States accounts for half of the Canadian economy; Canada accounts for three percent of theirs. These proportions are not altered by elaborate metaphors about the transplantation of trees between Vimy and Milliken. Until Canada recovers the relative prosperity it enjoyed with the United States a decade ago, there is little strategic sense in the prime minister travelling to the Rhine to deliver a wistful reflection on the failure of Canada and Europe to produce a superior political ethos while remaining economically competitive.

One day, I hope, this whole long period of hubris, complacency and a total alienation from reality will land in the history books about Europe, its elites and population. This is by far the most immoral and embarassing period of the European history after the two world wars.
One day Europe will interrogate how and why so many jingoistic Russians cheering on the slaughter of Ukrainians wound up living in Europe.

TROJAN HORSE: Fox News Digital's @AsraNomani @MizellPreston @M_Dorgan tracked Jodie Evans, the wife of Shanghai-based tech tycoon Neville Roy Singham, as she marched through Midtown Manhattan alongside paid staff, pre-made signs and rolling wagons in a scripted four-hour anti-Israel demonstration organized by groups her husband bankrolled with $285 million. Evans, co-founder of CodePink, marched alongside activists from the People's Forum, the Revolutionary Communists of America and the Democratic Socialists of America as self-declared "comrades" chanted "Globalize the intifada." The People's Forum alone received $22.4 million from Singham. When asked by Fox News Digital about her husband's funding, Evans deflected: "He's not been in the United States for six-and-a-half years." The operation involved assigned field marshals, paid nonprofit staff, portable sound equipment, a stage, coordinated slogans and a media team producing content designed to make the march look like a spontaneous eruption of grassroots anger. By 8:08 p.m., @FoxNews Digital watched protesters roll their carts back to the People's Forum headquarters on W. 37th Street. Congressional lawmakers have called the groups "Trojan horses" for the Chinese Communist Party.

Mark Carney’s address to the European Parliament laid bare a familiar and costly delusion. Having moved Canada past Britain as another country purporting to straddle Europe and the United States, the Prime Minister revealed in Strasbourg his authoritarian, Davosian leftist biases more clearly than he has to Canadians. He flattered his audience by rewriting the history of WW2, asserting that freedom was won “thanks to the heroism of the European resistance.” This is rubbish. Europe was liberated (from Germany) by the Americans, British and Canadians. He neglected to mention that Canadian exports to the United States are ten times those to Europe, or that the United States accounts for more than a third of Canada’s economy. Both speaker and audience indulged a complete fantasy of reciprocal magnetic interest. It will not last long. For twenty years the American economy has grown more than twice as fast as the European Union’s. Europe is wallowing economically; its principal powers flounder while only Italy presently possesses a serious government. The romantic notion that the old European powers, having squandered their leadership in the world, can simply stand on one another’s shoulders and reclaim planetary primacy is a delusion.
