This Is Basically A Texas Baseball Account Now

This translates to Arch is a short leash this Saturday in my opinion. I almost think Sark expects him to struggle and is trying to get someone semi ready to come in if he’s right. Taking reps away from a struggling QB that you are 100% behind makes no sense.
Sources: Texas is expected to give an up-tick in first-team quarterback reps to redshirt freshman KJ Lacey Jr. this week in practice. Arch Manning still projects as the Texas starter. The uptick in Lacey’s reps is a signal that Texas could replace Manning if he continues to struggle.

Arch or Sark seems to the big debate on Longhorn Twitter lately. It doesn’t matter. If Arch is so bad that he’s the reason the offense is bad, it’s still on Sark. Sark recruited him, has coached him for 3 years and has the power to make a change. In reality, there are multiple ingredients in this bad Texas offense recipe. Ultimately, it all goes back to Sark. OL not good enough? Get a new OL coach or fix your evaluation process. QB not doing his job? Put someone else on the field. Can’t manage a game with your head buried in a play sheet? Stop calling plays and just be the head coach. It all goes back to Sark.

Steve Sarkisian, for intents and purposes, is the CEO of a multi million dollar company. At no multi million dollar company is the CEO also the VP of Operations or Sales or Development, etc. I don’t understand why is so averse to just being the CEO. When you factor in recruiting, NIL, transfer portal, etc it is impossible to be highly successful the way Sark is trying to do it. That is not a knock on him as a coach. It’s just the reality. The knock on him is that he is too stupid to realize it or too stubborn to adjust. If the fall comes for Sark at Texas, this will be why.

That’s 2 halftime leads, 2 weeks in a row, and 2 losses. 12 carries combined for Texas RBs.
Texas RBs touched the ball 4 times in the 2nd half of a game they led 17-10 at halftime.

Watch that teams that won today and the ones that played close games as dogs. They are all physical. Texas isn’t. And it’s not because they don’t have good players.

Herbie is starting to get unbearable to listen to these days. He just spent a minute talking up a play where the DB just fell down.

Texas has a toughness problem. Among other things. But if you can’t be physical, you can’t win in this game.

There should be a doomsday device that is triggered the next time Sark sends in 12 personnel.

Texas is the 1st AP Top 10 team since 2003 to blow a double-digit lead in back-to-back weeks against an unranked opponent.

A brand new coach just took his not even close roster into Georgia and beat them. Sark took a team full of NFL players and got run out of the building.

I’m not saying Sark should make wild changes are not, but I am saying that if he believes he should and doesn’t now, he won’t ever. This season is 100% on the line every single game for the rest of the year.

D. Copper had zero touches today. Sark said earlier in the week that he earned more opportunities. 4th and 1 might have been a good time for him to get a touch.

I think Arch Manning’s career is trending a lot like Chris Simms’. Elite physical tools but just never could put it all together to reach that potential.

Texas is a miracle away from being 3-3 and completely done.
