I’ve been researching @vrnouns and flooor.fun for a while, and the model caught my attention. VRNouns is a fully onchain NFT collection on Base. Its main utility comes through flooor.fun , an NFT marketplace built around one simple idea: redirect trading fees back to active holders. Whenever a VRNouns is sold on Flooor, 4.5% of the sale enters a daily ETH vault. Holders sign during the day and later claim an equal share. No staking or lockup—the NFT stays in your wallet. The model is straightforward: More trading volume → a larger vault More signers → more people sharing it Daily sign and claim also create consistent onchain activity on Base. No airdrop is guaranteed, but the founder has publicly stated that if the project receives a Base allocation, 50% will be shared with VRNouns holders. The project is still early, experimental and high-risk, but it combines three things I find interesting: NFT ownership, real ETH distribution and Base ecosystem activity. Yesterday’s RISEx retro points distribution left most of the community deeply disappointed. From what I’ve seen, many users have already moved on to platforms like Ondo Perps or Vanta. Meanwhile, a few accounts closely associated with the project are still praising the distribution, which only makes the disconnect feel worse. The real damage here isn’t just the number of points people received. It’s the loss of trust. The community understands what happened, yet the team still seems unwilling to acknowledge how badly this was received. When everything was going so well and then ends up like this, it inevitably makes people question the team’s intentions.
