The co-accused are Waititu’s wife, Susan Wangari Ndungu; former Kiambu County Chief Officer for Roads, Transport, Public Works and Utilities Luka Mwangi Wahinya and Charles Chege Mbuthia, a director of Testimony Enterprises Limited. The appellants had challenged their convictions on charges of conflict of interest, dealing with suspect property, abuse of office, engaging in fraudulent practices in procurement and fraudulent acquisition of public property arising from matters during Waititu’s tenure as Kiambu Governor. In a ruling delivered by Lady Justice Rose Ougo, the High Court upheld the convictions on the other charges and overturned the subordinate court's acquittal on the money laundering charges. The court further revoked the bonds granted to the appellants, ordering that Susan Wangari Ndungu be detained at Lang’ata Women’s Prison, while Ferdinand Waititu, Luka Mwangi Wahinya and Charles Chege Mbuthia are detained at Nairobi Remand Prison pending mitigation and sentencing on the Money Laundering charges before the subordinate court. The court granted the appellants 14 days within which to appeal the decision. The prosecution was led by Senior Deputy Director of Public Prosecutions (SDDPP) Vincent Monda and Assistant Director of Public Prosecutions (ADPP) Faith Mwila. The matter is scheduled for mitigation and sentencing at the Anti-Corruption Magistrate’s Court on 19th October 2026. #HakiNaUsawa

Bildad Mwaganu Kaggia was born in 1921 and died in 2005. From 1963 to the day he died, Kaggia remained one of Kenya’s most dignified, principled, ideologically committed as a socialist and perhaps the only person from the Mount Kenya region who steadfastly refused to be compromise his principles and ideological commitment for short-term opportunistic gains. But you won’t find Kaggia’s name mentioned by our hopelessly compromised media, hypocritical politicians and pseudo intellectuals. However, for progressives all over the world, Kaggia’s legacy is cemented in gold, diamond and platinum. Viva! #SocialismIsTheSolution

In the next few months, you are going to witness your favorite “influencers” pieces of shit rather, completely collaborate with evil. They will gaslight you with all manner of excuses. They will try to convince you to give this government a chance. They will even rub it in your face. Because they have to work for the money. But no matter how hard it gets, don’t forget the truth. Don’t forget all the dynasties have ever done is guard their resources. Don’t forget the hustler just used that narrative to get your votes. Don’t forget that as your parents retire, their parents are getting luxurious jobs. Don’t forget how much of a mess our education system is. Don’t forget how much of a mess our healthcare system is. Please don’t forget the ones who walked so you can run. This is the era of homeguards and real fighters. No matter how much they tell you to sell your soul, don’t do it. You deserve to sleep better at night knowing you are not a sellout. This too shall pass✌🏾 Also, yes, I said pieces of shit

There's a reason why ancient civilizations placed actors at the very bottom of the social rungs next to prostitutes.

A population kept in survival mode is less likely to organize, protest, or revolt. That’s why I believe this economic hardship isn’t accidental.

All I have to say on this is that Sweden is officially moving away from digital technology in education and going back to handwriting and text books. There was a study released on this being the first generation in a century to score lower in academic and cognitive tests then previous generations. So. 🤔
Media personality Kwambox is on the receiving end online after claiming GenZs are the dumbest generation. According to her, the ability to memorize phone numbers is a sign of intelligence, arguing that today's generation struggles with it compared to older generations. Ata mejja ameshangaa nani alifanya io study.

I left the newsroom almost 20 years ago, and it was a known fact that if your camera gear got stolen, it ended up at Shah Ashish’s house. Cameras stolen during robberies or at the airport were sold to him. He has been the mafia of stolen cameras and filming equipment for decades.
Kenyan entertainer DJ Macdee has successfully tracked down and recovered his stolen Ksh 280,000 Pioneer DJM-S11 mixer, only to be hit with a shocking twist involving the police. The high-end equipment was broken into and stolen from his car on July 7th. After spotting it being advertised online a month later, Macdee partnered with officers from the Mugutha Police Station to launch a sting operation. The trail led them to arrest a suspect, DJ Mkenia, who ultimately escorted the team to a residence in Parklands owned by Shah Ashish. Inside the house, the mixer was recovered alongside a massive stash of other suspected stolen electronic goods, including TVs, speakers, and generators. However, the breakthrough has been marred by controversy. DJ Macdee discovered that the primary suspect, Shah Ashish, was mysteriously released on cash bail by the Mugutha OCS at midnight without his knowledge. The DJ is now publicly calling on the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to ensure transparency and answers as to why a key suspect was released in the dead of night.

I've heard Prof Ndungu's views on Ruto overrunning government institutions. I experienced it firsthand when I was the Chair of IPOA while he was the Deputy President. He called me early one morning, threatening that if IPOA didn't comply, he and Uhuru would treat us as they did the opposition. I told him to proceed. I don't understand why people in institutions fear a single man just because he's President ,but he's not God. We're all mortal. As the Romans would say 'Memento mori'

Common intention. Joint enterprise. Aiding and abetting. Principal liability.
Obado did not commit that offence. I don't know about the others. Even the circumstantial evidence(non existent) could not put him in any scene or act. The court(Judge) imagined he was afraid of publicity and embarrassment and therefore... Was it possible other family did it..

It is a curious presumption on the part of lawyers, that they suppose the rest of us wholly bereft of reasoning faculties. Surely for one persuaded that Dr. Owuor has power to cure HIV can scarcely be deemed capable of furnishing us with any sound account of his innocence or guilt

Yesterday's judgment raises a serious question of prosecutorial consistency. If the doctrines of common intention, joint enterprise, aiding and abetting, or principal liability are to be invoked, then it is difficult to reconcile the exclusion of Deputy Inspector General Eliud Lagat from the list of accused persons in the Albert Ojwang matter, particularly where it is alleged that his complaint set in motion the chain of events that culminated in Ojwang's death. If the prosecution's theory is that criminal liability extends beyond the immediate perpetrators to those who initiated, directed, procured, or substantially contributed to the commission of the offence, then the same legal standard must be applied consistently. The Constitution guarantees equal protection and equal benefit of the law; selective prosecution offends both the appearance and the administration of justice.
