I finally told my family that I was baptized into The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and… it didn’t go well 😭 I ended up leaving early in a puddle of tears. I love my family, but I honestly don’t know how to handle this. I’m angry, I’m sad, I’m hurt… I’m just everything. I know they are very Catholic and wouldn’t like it, but I had hoped that once they saw how happy and full of love of the Lord that I am now, maybe they would accept my decision. That was wishful thinking 😞
