On the flip side, what if you brought the first team all NFL skill guys to ou and left the OL as is? What is Mahomes doing if he is immediately having to run for his life? Receivers don’t have time to get open? RBs having to make people miss in the backfield?

Frankly, whatever OU’s budget is for the offense, most of it should be going towards the OL. If you have to bargain hunt, do it elsewhere. I imagine a lot of seemingly average OCs and skill players will suddenly look elite if they have a top tier OL
