I think this is 1988… I didn’t realise the 253 set numbers were applied after the IC125 livery was introduced…

Good evening everyone. My tribute to a true railway icon, and one of the best designed trainsets ever to grace the rails. Happy 50th, InterCity 125! A line-up at London Paddington on 25/8/1994, nearest the camera is 43030, 43041, a hidden power car, and finally 43005. 😁👍
