I am wondering is any big player entering the game and is it a red carpet for them?? Why is this so important, as customers aren't much worried about it, the smartphones prices has anyways shot up by 30%+ now and now banning this again add up to the costlier screen protectors

What kind of announcements are these? Who sits for hours to discuss on this topic and take a decision? There are a hell lot of issues in India and officials are too busy on these things. 😔

The same low-quality will be sold by shops inside shop malls at 500 rupee now, instead of 50-80 rupees which we earlier got from open markets. It's just a opportunity to sell our desi "Baingan" (brinjal) by renaming it "Eggplant".

You mean now every tom dck and harry quality screen protector will cost ₹500 or more? Loot the citizens with inferior product and premium prices. Who the hell will ensure the premium quality? Gov can't ensure non-adultrated food since ages, how the hell will they ensure this!

I don't understand by what measurement is this quality? Any standard certification? What if the uncle who sold mobile screen protector for 50 rs is now selling the same with different packing at 250? What action will be taken by then?

Petrol adulteration with sugarcane juice, food adulteration, medicines adulteration is ok for @narendramodi govt. But mobile glass has to be of BIS standards. Wonder what are #NDA ministers eating these days & coming out with such BS ideas. @PMOIndia @AmitShah @ARanganathan72

Only the price increase will be passed on to consumers , literally going after a low hanging fruit. The price of cheap screen protectors will increase now for public. Fixing something by these IAS madarchods that didn't need fixing
