This is the doom I predicted a few days ago, coming for Photoshop. A clean-room open-source reimplementation.
No prizes for guessing that they decompiled Photoshop to source code, processed that to some kind of non-code specification language, then fed the spec to an LLM with an instruction to generate Rust.
Adobe just got nuked. And closed source is dead, dead, dead.

Initially when I was toasting her, she was giving me slow replies, she wasn’t picking my calls, she was giving me one word replies; Now that she believes that I will give her a care package, she’s eager to message me, fast responses, now I will flip the game on her and play hard to get, while raising her hopes that she will indeed get a care package on Monday, so she feels what I felt the last two weeks of talking to her.
