MDSO deputies responded to @iflymia this afternoon following reports of shots fired. Deputies quickly responded and took a subject into custody. There is no ongoing threat to the public at this time. The investigation remains ongoing. Traffic in and around the airport may be impacted, with vehicle traffic currently being diverted to the arrivals level. Travelers are encouraged to allow additional time and follow the direction of law enforcement and airport personnel. We appreciate the public’s patience as deputies continue their work at the scene.
