I envy Canadians. Our leader can barely string two sentences together. It will be a tough time for Canada, but it is worth remembering that Carney helped the UK weather Brexit’s financial shock. He calmed markets after the referendum, deployed monetary tools to cushion the economy, and extended his term to help steer the country through the early stages of Brexit. Unlike with Brexit, however, this time he is cleaning up a mess created by another country's voters.
