Long before it turned genocide denier, the @BBC produced a documentary that exposed three truths: One: The genocide against the Tutsi was planned. Two: The plan was known to the US State Department months before hell was unleashed on Rwanda’s Tutsi. Three: The attack on the plane was nothing but a pretext to unleash genocidal violence. "Rwanda, That Local Thing" is just one episode among eight in a series called Corridors of Power: Should the US Police the World? Here is what British investigative journalist @lindamelvern writes in her recent article, "A preventable genocide, a denied responsibility: What 'Corridors of Power' reveals about Rwanda": "Anyone who had bothered to examine the cables from Kigali, carefully filed in the State Department’s Africa Bureau, would have found the outline of a planned, political campaign to exterminate the Tutsi." Read more: newtimes.co.rw/article/34670… Let that sink in. They knew. The documentary goes further, revealing that the extermination plan was personally disclosed to General Roméo Dallaire, commander of UNAMIR, back in January 1994… by a regime insider. Here was the plan, in cold blood: -Kill Belgian peacekeepers to drive the UN mission out. - Then kill all Tutsi. Lists of Tutsi were drawn up. Weapons stockpiled. Tens of thousands of Interahamwe militias trained and mobilized. The media, the RTLM, would do the rest, whipping the masses into a killing frenzy. Three months before the genocide, three months before the plane was struck, the plan was already laid out, ready to be executed. The attack on the plane, launched from the Kanombe military barracks, controlled by the genocidal army, was never the cause. It was the excuse. The signal to begin the slaughter. Anyone who tells you otherwise is a genocide denier. Plain and simple. 🎯Did you know? Western intelligence agencies quickly identified Hutu extremists as the perpetrators of the 1994 plane attack, which served as both the pretext and the signal for the mass killings of Tutsi to begin. Within hours of the April 6, 1994 downing of President Juvénal Habyarimana’s plane, multiple Western intelligence services, including those of the United States, the United Kingdom, and Belgium, converged on a stark, unmistakable conclusion: The attack had originated from within the Hutu extremist power structure itself! Belgian military intelligence (SGR), deeply embedded in Rwanda through its UN peacekeeping role, produced a damning analysis as early as April 22, 1994. It stated unequivocally that “everything now suggests” the perpetrators belonged to the “hardline faction of the Ba-Hutu within the Rwandan army.” The speed and organization of the ensuing killings, the analysis stressed, proved premeditation. These are the 3 African countries you must visit before you die. South Africa Rwanda Botswana Guess which one offers the life-changing, emotionally charged experience you will ever have. #VisitAfrica #VisitRwanda Check her Instagram page (AlexTravels/ alextravel.s)
#Rwanda set its gorilla trekking permit prices high not just to limit overtourism and protect the environment, but also to ensure that tourism revenues directly benefit the communities living around the parks. Note the intentionality in making sure no one is left behind. That is the Inkotanyi values in action. #VisitRwanda Video Credit: Anna Tretter on Instagram.

A country’s infrastructure ultimately depends on what it enables people to do. #Rwanda has invested heavily in digital infrastructure as part of its wider socioeconomic transformation. The national fibre-optic backbone reaches all 30 districts, while broadband and mobile networks extend connectivity beyond the backbone itself. Combined with investments in poverty reduction, employment, education, healthcare and economic growth, digital connectivity is helping create an environment where Rwandans can access government services, learn new skills, connect to markets, build businesses and participate in the digital economy. #RwandaWorks
Poverty reduction is not achieved by statistics alone—it is reflected in people’s opportunities and living conditions. Under President #Kagame’s tenure, Rwanda has pursued policies aimed at expanding economic activity, creating employment opportunities and improving household welfare. The latest EICV7 findings show poverty at 27.4% in 2024, while real GDP per capita increased by 37% between 2017 and 2024 and the share of people aged 16+ who were employed rose from 44% to 54%. The figures point to measurable socioeconomic progress, while also showing that further work remains to reduce poverty even more. #RwandaWorks @Nadia_MUGUNGA1 @sheilakamuzinzi

From hosting the FIA General Assembly in Kigali to bidding for an F1 race and now potentially bringing Formula 1 back to Africa after decades. A huge moment for #Rwanda, African motorsport and the continent’s place on the global sporting stage. 2030 could be historic. 🇷🇼🌍🏁 Thank you, K A G A M E🙌🏾🫶🏾

As Obama said, even with the lipstick, [the Congolese army] is still a pig. The so-called assistance is just training and intel sharing, and the intel is already flowing. DRC troops have been trained by Belgian, French, and Israeli instructors. The result never changes: they flee when they face real fighters and only bully civilians. Rwanda is terrified by what? These FDLR terrorists are delusional.
Kagame's Rwanda Terrified by the Upcoming US Military Assistance to the FARDC Pro-Kagame Newspaper @UKWELITIMES wrote about the upcoming US military assistance to the FARDC under a December 2025 security memorandum signed in Washington, highlighting training, intelligence sharing, and logistics support. The five-year agreement, now gaining public details, emphasizes building FARDC capabilities for border control and protecting DRC natural resources while conditioning deeper aid on military reforms, governance improvements, and human rights compliance under the Leahy Law. PEACE THROUGH FORCE! LET'S GO!

In December 2014, President Kagame formally announce Rwanda's intention to bid for a Formula 1 race during the FIA General Assembly in Kigali. Then after, President Kagame met with F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali and maintained communication with FIA President Mohammed Ben Sulayem. Now, an agreement is in place to host the return of F1 to Africa in 2030, precisely in Rwanda. KUDOS MY PRESIDENT.

LEADERSHIP: President #Kagame’s efforts to transform Rwanda into a key global player are increasingly paying off. With Rwanda being considered as a potential host for a Formula 1 race in #Africa, a development that would be music to the ears of many, the country’s global visibility could be approaching a new high. President Kagame has consistently urged Rwandans and fellow Africans to aim higher, think bigger, and work harder to transform their countries and achieve ambitious development goals. In Rwanda, the action is taking place. The rhetoric is over. The results are beginning to speak for themselves. @RDBrwanda @Rwanda_Sports @F1 @FiatAngelo

President Kagame is a remarkable teacher and philosopher. His speeches on leadership and nation-building are not just about politics; they carry lessons we can apply to our own lives.
#RwandaWorks: Real resilience is built on measurable progress. Between 2000 and 2024, #Rwanda achieved a historic milestone by cutting its national poverty rate from 58.9% down to 27.4%. “We want to build a society that is resilient. You can't build a society that is resilient on vibes, but a resilient society can vibe.”— President Paul #Kagame This substantial reduction reflects the government’s sustained efforts to expand employment, spur economic growth, and uplift the livelihoods of all citizens proving that true strength comes from solid foundations. #Rwanda #Leadership #PovertyReduction #RwandaWorks #EconomicGrowth #Resilience #AfricaRising

🚨Formula one returns to Africa in Rwanda from 2030 The plan is a permanent circuit about 40 km from Kigali, near Bugesera International Airport, designed by WurzDesign , Alexander Wurz’s firm. I would wish to appreciate the efforts of Lewis Hamilton in championing for a Grand prix to be held in Africa. Special Thanks to H.E Paul Kagame for making this come true.

You know the funniest thing about Rwanda haters who are Rwandans (Nabyumva ari abandi)? They seem to want NOTHING good to happen to Rwanda. And honestly, that is what makes their fight so weak. You can have legitimate differences with the leadership of a country. Challenge the policies. Point out what isn’t working. Tell voters what you would do differently and the solutions you would bring to address those challenges. That is a perfectly legitimate political position. But when you look at everything good happening in Rwanda and your only response is, “Rwanda is still a poor country, so Rwanda can’t host F1” … Nyef Nyef Find some substance! 🤦🏽‍♀️ If your argument is simply to dismiss every achievement because you oppose the leadership, you’re not really making a strong case for anything. Bring substance. Challenge the policies. Present alternatives. But this constant need to downplay anything positive about Rwanda? VERY weak. 🙄 Imihigo irakomeje 🇷🇼

This is what happens when more and more people don't seek real information. It has to have a name, something along the lines of "stupidization of society." Why would you ask a question for which you already have the answer? Q: When will Rwanda lift its defensive measures? A: When the FDLR is neutralized. It's written in the damn peace deal, silly!
When will Rwanda withdraw from DRC 🇨🇩 Mr. President? My question 🙋‍♀️ for today stay tuned. 🇨🇩 Monsieur le Président, quand le Rwanda se retirera-t-il de la République démocratique du Congo ? Ma question du jour. Restez à l’écoute ! 🎙️

Before President Kagame ordered the deployment of Rwandan troops to Mozambique in July 2021, terrorists controlled huge swaths of Mozambique's Cabo Delgado province, more than 800,000 people had fled, and thousands had been killed. Under Kagame's leadership, everyone on the continent understands that Rwanda is a friend in need when your cause is just. Rwanda succeeded where others had failed, and your friends in Maputo, some of whom are simply populists who criticize everything their government does, even the good, and others who are on the FDLR payroll, would say anything regardless of how the people of Cabo Delgado feel about Rwanda’s intervention. But the people’s voice can never be silenced forever. Rwandan troops and their CIC are African heroes. Here, in September 2025, Mozambicans were demonstrating and demanding that Rwandan troops stay because they felt safe with them. On the side is a picture of what their lives were like before Rwanda deployed.
🔴⚠️RWANDA TROOPS: Persona Non Grata in Cabo Delgado! Who Invited Kagame’s Army? Mozambique MP Accuses Government of Importing Terrorism by Bringing Kagame’s Troops to Mozambipque. Video⤵️ Accusations Against the President: A female speaker directly accuses President Filipe Nyusi of "bringing terrorism" to Mozambique and questions the circumstances surrounding Rwanda's military intervention in the country. Questions Regarding Authorization: She questions how and by whom the recruitment and presence of Rwandan forces were authorized, alleging that the decision was made without proper consent from the Assembly of the Republic. Moderator's Counterpoint: The other participant/ moderator intervenes, warning that her statement is "very serious" and asking for evidence or formal legal proceedings to back up her claims. Remember that the same Rwanda Defense Force invited into Cabo Delgado is, on UN and Human Rights Watch findings, embedded with the M23 in eastern Congo in a campaign of summary executions, rape, forced recruitment and mass displacement that investigators say may amount to war crimes and crimes against humanity. An army with that record does not become a guarantor of Mozambican/other nations safety. @USAmbUN @StateDept @PresidenciaMoz @ParlamentoMoz
