🚨BREAKING: A Minnesota MAGA State Trooper who filmed himself s*xually assaulting an infant while in uniform just found out the badge does not put him above the law. Jeremy Francis Plonski was sentenced to 27 years in federal prison for producing child s*xual abuse material and 20 years for distributing it, to be served concurrently, plus 15 years of supervised release. Court records show he made and sent the videos in 2023. Prosecutors say he was wearing his firearm and State Patrol and Army Reservist uniforms during the assaults. He sent material to a Kik user he described as being in a relationship with him. He pleaded guilty. He was arrested in late April 2023. The State Patrol fired him. A related Scott County case remains active. Plonski used the alias Zela Zula on Facebook where he posted images of himself in his uniform, shared Breitbart News posts attacking Obama as being weak on foreign policy, complaints that not enough people attend church and worship Jesus, and an image of Trump’s fist pump moment after the alleged assassination attempt in Butler, Pennsylvania. Official charging documents and news coverage identify him as a former Minnesota State Patrol trooper and Army Reservist. This story has received no coverage outside of local news. Imagine if this were a trans person, undocumented immigrant, Somali, or any other minority MAGA loves to demonize? This story would be blown up all over social media. Make sure this case gets the attention it deserves. 🔁

On September 6, 2018, Botham Jean, a 26-year-old Black man, was inside his own Dallas apartment when then-Dallas police officer Amber Guyger entered his home after mistaking it for hers. Botham was unarmed. He was sitting in his living room when Guyger fired two shots, fatally wounding him. Botham died in the home where he had every right to feel safe. A jury later found Guyger guilty of murdering Botham and sentenced her to 10 years in prison. Eight years later, we remember Botham as a son, brother, friend, and beloved member of his community. We stand with the Jean family, whose strength has helped carry Botham’s legacy forward, and we remain committed to accountability for every life taken by police violence. Botham Jean should be here.
