Happening now in the occupied West Bank: the Israeli occupation has gone wild. An Israeli terrorist settler wearing an army helmet tried to break into my house. He brought an Israeli army soldier with him to facilitate his entry. Israeli soldiers and settlers are working together to terrorize and intimidate Palestinians across the West Bank. This is not isolated settler violence. It is a dangerous pattern of settlers operating with the protection, presence, or complicity of Israeli forces.

I told Al Jazeera today that settler violence is state-sponsored and backed by the Israeli government, noting that many soldiers operate as settlers in uniform whose primary mandate is to shield settler activities and obstruct Palestinian self-defense.

Life in Hebron. Israeli settlers placed a large rock at the entrance of a Palestinian home belonging to an elderly woman, deliberately blocking her access to her own house. We removed the rock and reopened the entrance. In Hebron, even an elderly Palestinian woman’s basic right to enter her own home can become something she has to fight for. This is not an isolated incident. It is part of the daily reality of Palestinians living under settler violence and restrictions in Hebron. Never give up dreaming of freedom, justice and equality.

The video shows how the massacre started in the village of Tal, near Nablus. Israeli settlers raided the village, and unarmed Palestinian residents tried to defend their homes. Israeli soldiers and armed settlers then opened fire on them. During the attack, one Palestinian took a settler’s gun to defend himself against the armed settlers. Five Palestinians were murdered in cold blood, while one Israeli settler was also killed.

Yesterday in Hebron, an Israeli settler stopped his car on a road reserved exclusively for settlers—where Palestinians are forbidden to drive—and stole a ladder from a Palestinian shop. The entire area is covered by Israeli military CCTV cameras, yet there is no expectation that he will be held accountable. This is what impunity looks like. #Hebron #Palestine

Today in Hebron, I intervened to help four Palestinian women being harassed and detained by an Israeli settler. Two settlers then attacked me. An Israeli soldier watched the assault and blamed me instead of stopping it. This is how settler violence is enabled.

Today, Saturday, Israeli occupation forces are restricting Palestinian worshippers and visitors from accessing the Ibrahimi Mosque, while simultaneously facilitating and encouraging settlers’ entry under military protection. This discriminatory policy highlights the unequal treatment imposed on Palestinians and Israeli settlers at one of the holiest sites in Hebron.

Today, an Israeli soldier arbitrarily closed the checkpoint, preventing Palestinians from reaching their homes. Teachers, workers, students, were all blocked from moving freely. These restrictions are part of a system of military occupation and apartheid that makes daily life unbearable and pressures Palestinians to leave their homes for the benefit of expanding settlements.

The extensive killing of Palestinian children and teenagers in the West Bank is not a series of isolated incidents. It is a practice backed by every arm of the Israeli regime. From 7 October 2023 to 29 June 2026, Israel killed 1,087 Palestinians in the West Bank, including 242 children and teenagers. In 2025 alone, 54 minors were killed. Our new report, “Unshielded Childhood,” tells their stories. The Israeli legal system helps whitewash these killings, grants impunity to the perpetrators, and shirks its duty to demand accountability from those responsible. The Israeli public remains largely indifferent, while some segments openly support the violence. To legitimize this routine killing in the eyes of the Israeli public and the world, Israel systematically dehumanizes Palestinians. When the military almost automatically labels Palestinian children and teenagers who posed no threat as “terrorists” or “involved in terrorism,” it creates a reality in which their lives are treated as entirely disposable and harming them is seen as legitimate and permissible. While the world looks away and grants Israel international impunity, the reality on the ground is clear: under the Israeli regime, no Palestinian is protected, and any Israeli who harms them enjoys full impunity.
